I spoke with Eli Ricks and co

First off, I’ve known Eli since before the National Championship.
This is exactly like an AAU basketball handler situation.
NIL “agents” approached him and his mom at the midpoint of last season. These guys are scumbags who target talented players on bad teams, giving them bad info, and causing a rift between the player and school re NIL. Almost everything these guys say is bullshite. Think the scummy dude who can’t make it as an agent, so he slimes his way into player’s lives with false NIL promises, hoping he will retain them as clients and get hired on by an agency.
I have both of these fricker’s names and I’m thinking about blasting them. One is from Detroit and is a big OSU guy. The other is in LA and wants Eli to go to bama.
They are not looking out for Eli. They are looking out for themselves. I was hopeful to get some info that Kelly had a chance to retain him, but it doesn’t look good.

Funny thing is, in a few years this won't matter. These superstar recruits will have NIL deals and agents before they leave HS. The schools will have to deal with the agents during the recruiting process.
Can't wait to see the blow-up when the first 8th grader has an agent.

He is putting money first, you could say Kelly did the same thing. I am sure I will get lots of down votes but both made a move for money and what they perceive as a better situation.

Not only that, this absolutely destroys the narrative that NIL is about getting value for your name and likeness...this is evidence that he wants to get more value than his name/likeness is actually worth by shopping himself around to schools who will make sure a payment is made under the guise of NIL.

Ricks is only about himself, so I'd frankly rather he just GTFO. Along with anyone else who puts NIL above their team, or isn't committed to playing at LSU. Good riddance.

Taylor Hamm and Ponamsky are now both NIL agents so I definitely believe the scumbag part
