I strongly believe that UF will beat one of the two of us before we play. I think they will be spoilers and of course would like nothing better. I don't think they are good enough to beat both of us back to back but they will give us both as much as we can handle. Here's to us both being undefeated before the game on Nov 5th.

I was discussing earlier with a friend this possible senario that would rock the foundation college football. LSU and Bama are 1 & 2 when they meet. Home team Bama wins a tight one by a point or two. Bama wins the SEC championship game and LSU finishes a strong 11-1. LSU & Bama in New Orleans for the National Championship. It could happen and the bitching and moaning by the rest of college football would be epic.

But it appears UF is legit enough to beat both Bama and/or LSU.

This gives me chills just thinking about it. But if LSU wins in Tuscaloosa, we better not have to beat them again for a National Title.

I'm pulling for the lizards this weekend. I never pull for the gumps unless it benefits LSU.

The only correct resolution to this is to have a three game series. One in November, one for the SEC. Probably those two will be split. Then the last one for all the marbles.

But the reality is that more than likely the first one of the three is the only one that will count, since the loser doesn't get invited to the other two.

We both still have a long way to go, but Nov 5th is going to be epic

The only way I could that senario happening would be the road team LSU losing a very tight game. Then finishing the season strong.

Great Post Scoop...Bama & LSU have too much in all 3 phases of the game for FL. Will be the game of the year.

Agreed Bama and LSU will beat Fla. Both teams just too strong in all phases.

That's a given. Also, everyone else would need to have 2 losses. The scenario that I'd really like to see would be Boise being the only other team with one loss. Would the voters put Boise in ahead of the 11-1 SEC team to avoid the rematch?

if bama loses at home, its tough shite for the title. on the other hand, if LSU loses on the road, i think a rematch might be warranted, provided the right circumstances are there.

im personally not big on rematches. you had your shot, and its not fair to the winner to have to win again

This is the way I feel too. But picturing an LSU-Bama National Title Game really fires me up. The chances are really slim, and if LSU wins Nov. 5, I won't want any part of them again. It's just fun to dream.

I hope Alabama loses to as many SEC teams they can but i must say, i watched what ya'll did to Arkansas yesterday and was VERY impressed. Ya'll played an absolutely amazing game yesterday and i honestly don't think it's been talked about as much (as a Bama game usually is) by the media.

It's clear that LSU and Bama are on an entirely different level than all other teams in the country.
