Probably, but there’s no point in worrying about it now. You don’t have to stress about finding tickets anymore. You are almost always going to “overpay” unless you wait until the last minute to buy when prices drop. Last year I got two lower bowl south end zone tickets to Bama the morning of the game for about $100 a piece. Somewhat time consuming, but worth it.

Yes, you are on the wrong side of the field.

I wouldn’t pay $250 for any seat in the stadium that isn’t a suite

I’m guessing you’ve never sat in the suites. There are tickets in the lower bowl that take a gigantic shite on the suites. Suites and the South Stadium Club are just ways for LSU to monetize the worst seats in Tiger Stadium. They’re cool, but from a game watching standpoint it’s awful

I got tickets in Section 216, Row 25, which matched best to what my old tickets used to be.

I love the North Endzone. It’s more lively than any other area of the stadium.
The good thing, for you and your son, is the band is in section 217 and the student section starts 3 rows above you. Needless to say, it will be rocking. We’re in 209 row 13 - bottom corner of the NEZ. I’ve been sitting there 9 months before I was born and still sit there today. The student section craziness, the band, team tunnel - - nothing compares to the energy, excitement, and the sights of the North Endzone

Last year I paid $1,000 for me, my wife, and our son to attend the Ole Miss game in 242 and for my wife and I to attend the Bama game in 243.

$1,000 for two games, three seats once and two seats the other time.

I now have three season tickets to all games in 243 for $2,400. Paying $1,000 on StubHub for two games was enough for me to bite the season ticket bullet. You’re going to almost always overpay if not buying directly from LSU but as others have said, it’s not all about how much you pay as much as it is about making memories with kids. Pay whatever you feel is acceptable and have fun. It’s just money. You might not wake up the morning after the game.

Possibly.

But a consolation. If LSU is unbeaten going into that game, I'll predict that week people will be paying at least what you paid or more for those same seats in the open market. And if A&M is having a great season also, even more.

That sounds a little high for what the\ose tickets are worth on the open market. However, since you are taking your son to too Alabama game and sitting in basically the same seats as you sat in when you were with your dad, I think they were worth every bit of that. You’ll both remember that day for the rest of your lives.

You only overpaid if you have a terrible time. Bringing your son should make it 100% worth it

You paid a premium price for peace of mind in knowing you have tickets for what could be a high demand game.

No harm in that

You probably could have got 2 free tickets day of game…one time I was with son for Georgia game several years ago and tickets fell out of my pocket. I had to buy from scalper in north end zone but was still able to sit in my season tickets.

I mean A&M could be coming in with a lot on the line plus not worrying gameday is a big win.

I just paid 160 each for a pair of tickets to the FSU game here in Orlando- end zone corner. I feel lucky as stub hub has them in the same section for $400 each.

It depends on your net worth.

I hope the OP’s seats aren’t directly behind Tiger Band. Those seats suck
