As an LSU fan born and raised in Alabama I have to say I hate that now is the time you moved. I've always worn my LSU gear proudly and usually there's the occasional War Eagle and the often roll tide and something about never beating Bama or jokes about Coach O.
I can honestly say lately I haven't heard a word from Bama fans and Auburn fans love to talk about how great Joe was and how much better than Tua he was. LSU and Auburn both beating Bama in the same year has united the fanbases. There are a surprisingly decent number of LSU fans in Alabama.

My wife has deep Cajun roots and missed the culture. She still has family here and I maintain friends here as well. We love it and are proud to be from Louisiana. I travel extensively for work and have for these 14 years. No place I’d rather retire than right here. An opportunity happened and we took it.
