Dexter Lawrence was a first rounder at Clemson in a 4 man front primarily. He was 6’4 342 at the combine. Oatis may need to drop a few pounds to be most effective but he moves well for his size. No reason he can’t play.

We played them this year and he played LB the majority of the snaps. Lined up various places but mostly LB. He’s very good and was all over the ball. They have a 10th grade DL named Peter Woods that is probably even better though. #2 player in 23. Maybe snagging Alexander could help pull him too? I’d gladly take JA either way though.

The high school I coach at played Thompson earlier in the year. Alexander is really good but Peter woods is another level. One of the best DL if not the best I’ve seen and he’s only a sophomore.

He hit it on a high school teammate of mine, Kendall Graveman from Alexander City, AL (Benjamin Russell HS). He was a few years older than me but his dad was our infield coach. He’s a great guy so I hope he bounces back. Congrats to Bregman though!!!

There was talk of him liking LSU a lot along with A&M and Texas and the usual blue bloods. Long way to go but if they somehow landed him and Stewart (and especially Nolen) it would be an absurd haul.

Difference is McKinstry lives about an hour and a half from Tuscaloosa and even further from Auburn vs 10 minutes for Burch to USC. Still definitely a pull of being closer but he can’t just easily stop by for dinner or a hug from momma.

As an LSU fan born and raised in Alabama I have to say I hate that now is the time you moved. I've always worn my LSU gear proudly and usually there's the occasional War Eagle and the often roll tide and something about never beating Bama or jokes about Coach O.

I can honestly say lately I haven't heard a word from Bama fans and Auburn fans love to talk about how great Joe was and how much better than Tua he was. LSU and Auburn both beating Bama in the same year has united the fanbases. There are a surprisingly decent number of LSU fans in Alabama.

Nice work! I agree with most everything but I think unless Marcel Brooks took a tremendous step forward in coverage it's tough to see him on the field over Damone Clark in the 4-2-5. If they want Brooks out there in 4-2-5 I think its with a hand down and maybe Thomas slides inside to rush the passer. Hopefully Brooks has improved enough that he isn't a liability in coverage though! :geauxtigers: :cheers:

Appreciate the work. If Baskerville is gonna play Will he's gonna have to get a lot better in coverage. If he starts I think it would almost have to be at mike or sam. Cox would be fine at will though. I also think Jacoby Stevens would be perfect at will. (Most NFL wills played safety at some point anyway.) :geauxtigers: :geauxtigers:

Whoever makes the walter football might be the biggest idiot in sports. This is the same site that had jatarvious whitlow from Auburn (Now in transfer portal) going second overall at one point. They also have about 5 Bama guys in the top 15 and 2 barely even played this year.
