When people say he was one of us I wonder who they're referring to as us? Yea sure he's form LA, but most of "us" don't bear an ounce of resemblance to O. I love the guys and always will because of 19' but I'm glad we moved on. He wasn't the quality of coach LSU needs.

Or the program that had the current DC on staff?

Ed lost his fire after he got the ring, Les sort of did too, but didn’t pack it in, and had a shot in 2011. Very few people are like Saban, Jay Johnson, Mulkey and Tom Brady when it comes to putting the previous rings away and strive to win another as if it were the first.

He literally burned the program down..

No, not literally. But yes, be needed to be fired.

We somehow didn't have a losing season under him and were still surprisingly playing with great passion on D at the end of his last year. We completely shut #2 Bama down at Bama. Max Johnson couldn't hit the broad side of a barn though, so we didn't win even though we held Bama to a program record low of 6 yards rushing. Then we took a ranked Arkansas team into OT until Nuss threw a pic in OT, and then we ended with a win over ranked aTm. Roster attrition sucked, but things could have been worse.

No, he actually did burn the program down. He decided to divorce his wife, post pics of himself in bed with the blonde, step out of the day to day, hire some bad coordinators, wreck the program and resign with us barely after to field a bowl game team..

Coach O was light years better than BK. At least he was fun.

You're going to get a bunch of people in this thread who'd rather watch offense as impotent as they are before they'd miss Orgeron.

Yes. Kelly did an unbelievable job in 2022 after the complete shite show he inherited from Orgeron.

He was one of us at least. BK is a Washington politician. I’d rather die by one of our own than sell out to a career loser.

frick off with this retarded-arse shite. This is an obvious troll.

Orgeron is the career loser, not Brian Kelly. Just take one look at their career records. There’s no comparison.

BK inherited the worst lsu roster since Dinardo was on the sidelines.
For fricks sake we didn't have a 2 deep roster on scholarship when he got here.

You were fine with O losing to Troy. So don't act like you have some standard for all lsu coaches. You were just fine watching O lose 5 and 6 games a year.

He didn't coach the bowl game. He resigned after the aTm win when they were 6-6. It seemed like it was worse than 6-6, but it wasn't like those DiNardo and Hallman years where we won 2-4 games. Either way, it was time for him to be fired.

He was the HC of lsu during a losing season. Just because he was fired before the bowl game doesn't negate that fact. Imo anyway. As if O wouldn't have also lost that bowl game.
