We are at 74 and have 3 weeks and 10 games to do it

Geaux tigers

And Arrambide can get to 20

This is the only legitimate response to this thread. Nothing else should be allowed.

There is no one on this site that cares more about home runs than AlecRock.

Not judging at all. Just saying.

I do, especially if that charge is led by the youngsters returning for next season. If Bide, Serna, and Braun hit 15-20 of those and Ruckert and Patrick add a few more, that bodes well for hitting next season.

How am I an idiot? For wanting something positive to happen for baseball in a down season?

Is it just me or is anyone else deeply disturbed at how much money LSU has spent in college athletics to see it crumble in all the major sports? Like, how do you suck so bad in your sports with all the resources and money you're dumping into them? Seems like a much bigger deeper rooted issue with all these teams and especially the baseball team. LSU better figure it out fast as all the hope seems to be hinged on Kiffin now.

I don’t “care” so much about 100 homers.

But, I’m looking for any positive for the season. So, I’m all for it!

I'd be "happier" to see better pitching over what's left...instead of chasing a HR number that doesn't really mean anything.

Why not both?

Of course the exact 100 Hr threshold is meaningless.
But I’d like to see our youngsters who will be here next year hit well.

I’ll take 100 HR’s. This team sucks so swing for the fences
