i dont think he will play...just my opinion though
I too am under the impression he won't play.
Two Sundays ago, the day of the surgery, Saban said Tua would be non-weight bearing for a few days, then would begin rehab around day 10. From there they would see how he progresses. I think in those immediate days following the surgery they were hopeful, but of course Saban wanted to play the uncertainty card to make LSU's job harder by having to prepare for 2 quarterbacks.
Fast forward a week, and on Monday of this week, Saban said Tua would return to practice on Wednesday. Today, Wednesday marks 10 days since the surgery, so naturally today was always the date when they expected him to return to some sort of physical activity.
But why change the terminology from "begin rehab" to "start practicing"? No doubt he wants to keep the uncertainty going but I think he now knows Tua is doubtful for 11/9 but he wants us to think he's probable so he changed the terminology to infer positivity. Basically, he wants LSU guessing, but he wants us to be leaning the opposite way of reality.

He was out of his walking boot in less than a week from surgery. He's weeks ahead of schedule and going to start against LSU.

That’s silly. We’ve lost 8 straight to these bastards and we need to end this streak by any means necessary. More so this year because we have a playoff spot riding on it. We shouldn’t care how we get this done.

Team Hawaii is not risking his millions in the NFL
Nor should they. Honestly, I hope that the parents of recruits looking at Bama pay attention to the fact that Saban is willing to gamble with their son's health and future just to win a damn ballgame that he (Saban), not the kid, will benefit from financially.

They will make excuses no matter what.
If he doesn’t play and we win the excuse will be that he didn’t play.
If he does play, plays poorly and we win, the excuse will be because he wasn’t healthy
If he does play, plays well and we win the excuse will be that they really just made mistakes and beat themselves. LSU was not better.
If we win, no matter how, Bama will make excuses.

By saying Tua is a gametime decision, it forces LSU to spend time scouting both QBs
There is nothing that the backup Mac whatever his name is does better than Tua.
LSU will prepare for Tua and if he doesn’t play, they will still be ready for the backup.

That is literally exactly what I said in my post if you had read the entire thing.
I know 8-10 lines is a lot.

The excuses are almost as good as the tears.

Amazing how many dumbasses here think he is not going to play. Dude is a fierce competitor, a Heisman candidate, and absolutely torched us with a bum leg last year. It is their only competitive home game of the entire season. He's playing. He'd play if the game was tomorrow.

Tua is not going to play. I have said it since the injury occurred. Check my posts.
You also said that Grant Delpit was saving himself for the NFL and that he wasn't about the alma mater anymore.

How does anything in your link support your guess? The same injury and procedure is documented as taking 3-6 weeks to fully recover.

He won’t play. He will play in the rematch.

Its win at all cost under any situation, no matter what. I dont want Tua to play and i wouldnt mind if all of their receivers caught the flu (because they catch everything) on friday before the game.
