When it’s still cold, in order to get ready for the Arky game.

Is it true?

Man, if true, this team is getting ready for the CFP. Seriously.

1) The Arkansas game is at 11am. It won’t be that cold.

2) It’s warmer at 5am in Baton Rouge than 11am in Fayetteville anyway

EDIT: Just to give you an idea, tomorrow at 5am in BR it’s gonna be 65 degrees. The high in Fayetteville on game day is 46…

If true, not because of cold, but to get them ready for the early kick.

Time for TAF to buy the team some large freezers or chillers. Maybe put more AC units on the indoor practice facility.

Can't they just practice indoors and turn the a/c down really cold instead?

Forecast Friday night low is in mid-20s. High on Saturday is mid 40s. Pretty damn chilly.

Don’t know about precip. Scheduling may have done LSU a favor at 11 am. Saturday night near freezing.

Hit 85 F here in Kenner this afternoon. Missed the record by 1 F . The tigers need to train Rocky style. Go to Colorado and train in the mountains or some shite.

60 degrees is not cold enough for it to even be close to what game time will be

LSU actually has this for players to help core body temps during fall camp. It’s essentially a shipping container repurposed for the heat. It was developed by a local guy who’s normally on the sidelines for all games.

Remember when we had hot chocolate and warming gel on the sideline against Arkansas that one year

It may not crack 40 degrees by kickoff Saturday in NWA.

I guess they better do it 5am Wednesday because that's the closest.. and still only 51 in BR then.

But, not like it'll be in the teens. So I don't see the point.

Damn fronts roll in DURING the game seems like every other year when we play in Fayettnam.

Start the game at 62, 28 by 3rd quarter. I blame it on the Indian Territory.

But yes, going to be cold. Close to freezing during the day. Below freezing when sun sets.

Problem is the field house endzone faces due north, so even if not lots of wind when it blows from N, it comes in the stadium and swirls. It's somewhat closed in on the N end now, but not enough to stop that N wind from getting in and going round n' round.

Now Arky players will have to simulate also. Cold front isn't supposed to hit till Friday.

I do wonder about their crowd...
On one hand they just lost to Liberty with the first cold front of the year coming in the day before.

On the other hand, it's LSU and unless John L. Smith is coaching they turn out for LSU.
