So, 3 losses a year, no hardware, no wins against Bama, and pro style offense?

Why not just keep Les and save the buyout money?

One thing I don’t understand
Ensminger said last year he didn’t want to be the OC
So why would anyone assume he would want to be OC now?

That’s an excellent question, and why I did a double take when O mentioned his name in post game. Maybe O is trying to convince him?

I hope he doesn’t plan to have Ensminger at OC, first because that would be contradictory to what Ed promised going into the job and it’s a bad idea to change offensive styles to go back to pro style, but especially since it’s obvious his heart isn’t in it.

My 2 cents, I’ve said this before... every time i look at O on offense with binocs even during crucial timeouts, he has his mic up only walking around the huddle clapping... has no input, not talking to coaches in the booth.. i like coach O but he needs to stay out of offense because he has shown to me that he provides no benefit

I'm not sure he knows what he wants to do. In his introductory press conference he said the spread type offense was the best offense in this day and age of college football. Was he just saying what he thought fans wanted to hear? Maybe.

Then he hired Canada whose offense is kind of a hybrid. Now he says he wants to run a pro-style USC offense and that he's been on many successful championship staffs and he knows what good offense is.

If Canada leaves let's see who he hires. I don't think Ensminger wants the gig honestly and whoever is hired might change the script again.

Why would you recruit pro style QB's(Brennan) to run a gimmicky hybrid version of the spread.

Mike D. was making an educated guess. He never said "Ed told me this..."

I don't even think it's plugged in to anything.
