and therefore a double-header on saturday. Are me tickets for the 1st game at 1pm like they were before? Meaning is Game 2 played before Game 1 or are both games changed? Thanks.

When they move games to create a doubleheader LSU usually announces what tickets get you into what game.

If the game scheduled for that day is on a tv network usually that game ticket stays the same. That is a possibility this weekend since the Saturday game is scheduled for 2 pm on SEC Network. So if they do a 2 pm and 6 pm doubleheader the game 2 ticket would be good for the first game and the game 1 ticket for the second game as technically that would be the make up game for Friday.

usually the 2nd game is just after the first game if Friday is moved to a Saturday double header. They clear the field though between games, so you have to have both game's tickets to watch both games.

If there is a rainout people who have tickets to game one will have their usual seats. Game 2 may be able to get in but they won't have their seats until game 2.

what!?

Thats not at all how it works

If you have tickets to Game 1 (Friday) you use those tickets for game 1, regardless of what day. After game 1 finishes, they clear the stadium and those who have tickets for game 2 (Saturdays game) can re-enter.

All games are televised this weekend.

If Game 1 is postponed, it will most likely be played following Game 2 on Saturday that is set to be broadcast on SECN at 1:00.

So if you have tickets to Saturday's game (Game 2). It will start at 1:00 but you won't be granted access to Game 1 (Friday's game) that follows.

Game 1 will not be moved.. weather looks to be moving to later on in the night and the game is on ESPN 2.

I think people are wondering if they leave game 2 time the same, and reschedule game 1 to be after game 2...it's a valid question if you are unfamiliar with how postponements typically work...

however, in this case, start time for game 2 is also affected when they have to postpone game 1.

Since Game 2 is set to air on SECN, there's very little wiggle room regarding time. Game 2 will have to be at the scheduled time of 1.

Game 1 (Friday's rescheduled game) will be later that day.

No idea if it gets moved, but based on the rule book Adam posted yesterday, if Game 3 is delayed on Sunday, it must start by 4:00 PM to avoid a rainout.

Or if started and delayed, it must restart by 6:00 PM.

Saturday tickets good for Saturday scheduled game. Only the time of that game may change due to a double header because of Friday make up game.

I doubt it since it’s on SEC Network. If they can play that game at its scheduled time they will. Any postponed games will work around that.

They may have a triple header on Saturday. In this case, game 2 will be first, then game 1, and finally game 3. If Friday is a tv game at 6 pm, they may want the same time Saturday, in which case, they would play the sec game at 1 pm, the no tv game at 330 pm, and the ESPN game at 6. That would mean game 2, game 3, and then game 1. Confused yet?
