But yes I think you have to treat this team as if you’re playing the Dodgers not Arkansas Little Rock
You’d start a guy who’s never played the position at 3B against the Dodgers? Ballsy. Stupid, but ballsy.

Can Frey (with pretty good speed for a big guy) not play 3rd base in place for Braswell? I get Reaves is a liability but we saw Tommy White (a bigger guy) hold down third base well.
Has Frey ever taken a ground ball at 3rd?
He was a catcher in HS if I’m not mistaken. May have taken some reps at 1st this year as well but why should he play 3rd?

I just don’t think you can win a CWS with Braswell and Jones both struggling so that was my theoretical suggestion but we shall see

like i said, 40:9 K:BB ratio out of conference
1:11 in SEC play.
1:11 in SEC play.

I've seen Frey bobble ground balls in RF

Have you ever been on staff at a D1 level baseball program?

Take a look around the country and see who’s eliminated. There is no clear “best” team this year. Maybe Arkansas, who LSU has already beat in a series.

There's a reason you don't see 6'6 guys at 3rd.

Yeah Arkansas is good but most of the teams that will get to Omaha are hot and have players stepping up and delivering. I mean thank god we got Milam and DC back out the slump but we need Jones or Bras to snap out of it. I mean it was only last year Bras led the team in BA in SEC play

I think Frey should start on the mound and let Cowan hit as DH. Somebody call Jay.

I do not want a freshman with their season on the line, to be on the mound who has shown major control issues throughout the season. I'm sure Jay is thinking the same thing.

how about we throw Jones and he can also DH and put him in the leadoff spot?

Thinking every lineup has to be good from 1-9 is the most casual LSU baseball fan thing ever. Especially considering the park in Omaha heavily skews in favor of pitching and defense.

He would obviously be behind, Cowan, Evans, Ware
But the post season writes itself, who wanted Hellmers for 5 inning against UNC?

Were you the equipment manager? You aren't going to fool anyone here into believing you played baseball even in HS with some of the dumb shite you post.

Dude I’m not saying good, I’m saying having the ability to come up in clutch situations it just seems that has not happen at all with Braswell this year but I’ll concede and say Frey stay at DH and just hope Braswell can level his swing

Lol bruh you don’t know me, I’d love to have your credentials in baseball versus mine
