In a way I have a somewhat similar sentiment. I have lived I in Alabama since ‘73 and have developed a dislike to be around Bama fans. The “Roll Tide Roll” after every football play gets me. Yes, their arrogance resulting from football success is real. But, part of my perspective is jealousy of their winning so much. Of that I’m certain. I’m wearing. Purple LSU shirt today to the gym and expect to meet and have n opportunity to dislike a few more Bama fans afterwards.
I silently enjoyed the losing years for Bama football and yearn for that to return. Unfortunately, I may croak before I get to experience it again.

they are a handful with their arrogance (any fanbase with their success would be), and their 'vast knowledge over everyone' since they count 22 championships....but what i hate more is the guy\girl born and raised in Slidell who spews Raaaawwwwl Tiihhhhhhhdd and talks shite down to LSU\La people. that, to me, is unfathomable. just GTFO with that shite.

I refer to those flucks as duke basketball fans. They are as front running as you can possibly be.

Ditto. And it's not irrational. I lived in selma for over a year. Horrible.. Everything... And I hate that song now also.
