I hate saying a bowl win gives us 10 wins. 10 REGULAR SEASON wins is the bar at LSU.

We shouldn't move that bar. First year was a great start for BK, but we went backwards as a program this year due to this defense even with a generational talent at QB. Record could be the same, but this defense and where we are with recruiting on defense is a huge step back from year 1.
He and the LSU media keep chirping about "possibly having back to back 10 win seasons" and for some reason that bothers me. I feel like it is their way of moving the goalposts.

10 wins is 10 wins and to do it back to back during a rebuild is a better job than BK is getting credit for.
Literally nobody is saying this is what we should settle for but it’s still a good accomplishment

Less and less impressive as time goes on and especially in today’s game with NIL and transfer portal.
It really is playoffs and/or national championships for any top tier program going forward.
It more than likely is going to be the one or maybe two loss teams that are going to move the needle for elite recruits and a long-term success, not just a "10 win season"

No it isn't. Historically, LSU has a 65.3 win%. That's not ten games even in a 13 game season.

The bar has moved post Dinardo. This response is disingenuous. Do you not think the bar at LSU should be 10 regular season wins in a 12 game regular season?

If Oklahoma loses the B12CG (and next year's playoff rules were in effect), LSU would be in.
Sounds like we're in the top tier going forward already.
