He's a coaches son, he's probably frustrated they aren't executing the plays. It seems like everyone is ignoring that, it's like the coaches get blamed for that too.

For example, the 1st half of the Miss St. game. There were at least 2 drops that would have converted 3rd downs. Burrow was inaccurate on a number of throws and threw an Int in the red zone. Deculus totally missed an assignment and gave up an easy sack and struggled throughout the game.

His brother post on another board, I'd bet anything Joe Burrow is thrilled to be in the position he's in and probably feels blessed.

Wait...2 miles in 7 minutes was world class time and beyond. It was 2 miles in 14 minutes and I still thought I would die.

And I told you that he wasn’t one of the great QBs because he didn’t hardly get in the games. I’ll add he went to Huntington but that’s it. You did not give your name. I know he does not want me putting his on here.

No one wants their name sprayed on the internet. Too many crazies out there. Other than saying I was probably behind Mackey, Mayo and Jimmy Gilbert as far as Bastrop quarterbacks, I would say nothing. And Ricky Head. 1963. He was the best Bastrop player in history.

I don’t get the alleged frustration. He could have stayed at OHU, continued to watch the games from the sidelines on a team ranked three spots lower than he is now.

Or he could have gone to Cincinnati, mired in irrelevance.

Or he could be inhaling the smoke from the dumpster fire at Nebraska.

Or he could be on tv every week and generating weekly film against top-level college competition being the starter at a top-10 program with an outside shot at a playoff spot.

Those were his only options that I heard about.

Seems like he went with the best one.

He's 8-2 on a top ten team instead of being a backup at Ohio State. I'm sure he's just kicking himself over his decision to come to LSU.

You people are just sad.

He did sound frustrated after the Arkansas game. He made a point of saying there were "some things we need to fix" a few times.

As he gets knocked on his butt every game, it's hard to imagine that he would be thinking "but we're a top 10 team! Yay!"

just how selfish of a player do you think burrow is? why do you project your bitch mindset onto the team? maybe, just maybe they have more mental toughness than a banana and are focused on finishing a great season at LSU and not crying about personal stats.

It's the job of the coaches to make sure the players can execute

If they can't execute then the playbook needs to be trimmed down until they are at a number of plays that the players can consistently execute

If the players can't execute consistently that is 100% on the coaches

I can appreciate your career experience, yet I feel it's probably much different than the one Joe from Ohio is experiencing.

Providing you give any credit to Joe's family of coaches and his experience as a football player. One would think he looked at what the team fielded last season and the personal LSU had to put on the field with him providing he choose to go to LSU. He and his family, like most saw what glaring.
LSU had no qb
LSU didn't have much to work with on the O-line
LSU didn't have any returning SEC skilled position statrers.
I'm certain he knew what he was getting into. When he had the opportunity to choose LSU vs. Cinn. My opinion was this decision will determine if dude has "Chest!"
My opinion he has "Chest"

While he might feel frustrated over his O line, he holds the ball far too long and is often oblivious in the pocket, so he's not doing the line any favors.

It might help if he stopped looking so damn morose out there and find the fire he showed early in the season. This team needs a leader; he looked like the guy early on but lately he looks like his girlfriend broke up with him.

Agreed.

And if you review the W/L ratio over the past few years, we are headed in the right direction.
Need improvements, yes. But we are not a derailed program. We could be OM, AR, hell even FL.

That's a fan's mindset. Not a players'. If you're getting your butt pushed in over and over every play and the offensive coordinator isn't helping you and the offensive line isn't protecting you, it can be frustrating.

Burrow isn't sitting 30 rows up in the stands like the fans. He isn't sipping on a cocktail. His view is nowhere as clear as yours.

Seems like E is trying to force players into his design. Better OC's design an offense around the skills of the players they have.

Perhaps they recruit players designed for their system. Haven’t had that opportunity yet.

I'm sure he has some frustrations but he does have an opportunity to start for another year and hopefully improve

There is legitimate reason to believe that the offensive line and WR play and overall offensive chemistry will improve next year

With the benefit of spring ball going into next year I think Burrow and the offense can make big strides. Now if they don't, then there needs to be an honest assessment of the offensive coaching staff moving forward.

We pulled in the #1 WR haul in the 2018 recruiting class. Those are to be considered his guys

He will have Burrow and all of those guys back next year. If the passing game doesn't succeed next year with all of the experience returning and a 2nd year starter then we'll know that E is simply in over his head. Almost the entire offense returns.

Your entire story concerning Burrow is made up. Burrow and his dad were well aware of what they were getting into. The only place any of it is true is in your head.

This. It has nothing to do with next year u. It's pieces in place.
