That's why Ensminger makes $800,000 a year. He must have spent most of it copying Cam's playbook.

It seems very similar.

I’m sure Burrow has zero regrets about his decision to come to LSU

What makes you so sure? I doubt this shitshow is what he signed up for.

There was honestly a point in the Alabama game where he looked like he just realized he was sold a lemon.

Sadly, Jack, Burrow knows more about a great passing game than OldManEnsminger does.

LSU has done as much for his profile and notoriety as any school in the country that would’ve actually given him a chance to start with virtually no competiton. He’s a tough kid and likeable, but he’s an average qb.

Ensminger and O's old school scheme makes an above average quarterback look average.

I still don’t know what kinda scheme would make him an about 55% passer week to week. He was in one of the most dual threat qb friendly schemes in the country and couldn’t snag the starting spot at OSU. He’s a gamer, but other than maybe Kentucky , what other school in the SEC would take him as their starter?

There's absolutely no chance that this is the offense Orgeron and Ensminger sold him when they convinced him to come to LSU.

The approach in the Georgia game may have been closer to what he expected. But after the shutout against Alabama, Orgeron and Ensminger went into a shell like a turtle against Arkansas. They coached scared, like LSU has done for the last decade.

Just like Les. Run it and try to hang on by your fingernails. The more I see Orgeron and Ensminger, the more I see Les and Cam. Burrow was sold the same lie as the rest of us

Unfortunately for your little theory Burrow knows exactly why the offense is being called the way it is. He's not sitting here all day coming up with bullshite scenarios like the OP of this thread. He's also not a huge gaping pussy like most of the posters on this board.

Seems like E is trying to force players into his design. Better OC's design an offense around the skills of the players they have

Can you be more generic !!

Sullivan on the slant.. Dillon outside... RBs in obvious roles

I believe he would thrive in Meyer's scheme, 60 to 70% completion. He could not beat out Haskins, but very few could. Meyer runs a much better, more aggressive scheme than this shite we're seeing at LSU. Meyer would definitely get more out of him I believe. He's a much better coach than Ensminger. There's no comparison.

Dude, he's the qb on an LSU team that is top 10 in the nation despite having one of the toughest schedules in the entire country. They still have a lot to play for this season as well, and he still has a year remaining after this season. Sure as hell beats the shite out of being the backup for an Ohio St team that got its arse kicked by purdue, lol. He's experienced the toughest competition you can face at this level and is doing pretty well. I bet he is having the time of his life and wishes he had been at LSU this entire time. What would be awesome is if somehow LSU gets matched up with Ohio St in the bowl game and he gets to beat the shite out of his former team. Would love to see that!

I'm pretty sure he's having the time of his life and is bleeding LSU, but I'm also pretty sure he and his brothers and their paw are frustrated with Ensminger's shite offense. They're football guys. Don't think for 1 second they're not critiquing the hell out of this ole buzzard.

Sorry, Ben. You never played quarterback. You never bought into an offensive scheme where they told you it would be entirely different than what it is. Why should he be thrilled? He's getting destroyed on message boards and in the media because Ensminger can't come up with a competent offense.

Yeah, he does see hear it and read it. He busts his arse every week to hand off and run for his life? If you haven't faced that, you have no clue.

Burrow has been very average. He's not really in position to be frustrated.

I love Burrow. I will defend him. But... he could not have landed in a better spot. Let's not worry about his feelings.

You don't know what private conversations that they've had and to pretend otherwise is just foolish.
