Every bad pass. Every interception. Every game they lose. He will always be compared to Joe, and it will be brutal. I’d rather be the guy after the guy.

Unfortunately we are going to have to be realistic and temper our expectations. We don't have to have a Heisman at QB to compete for the West.

And even worse we’ll have to hear about the great D Erik

Maybe Myles will be awesome and put up similar numbers.

On the flip side, he's fortunate to be playing in a system that puts pressure on the defense, not as much on his playmaking, and should help him to look pretty damn good. He also has every opportunity to learn from the best prior to taking over.

First, lets give Myles Brennan a chance to succeed. I think he can be really good. He should be very prepared, and it is time we trust the "process". If our offense is really an upgrade, then Brennan may surprise many and we could have continuous success next year as well!

Correct

We needed one this year because we had to out score Bama with Tua

Tua and most of those speedy WRs won't be there next year.

Obviously they'll still be a very talented team but they'll take a slight step back on offense as well

put this as the byline of this site and everyone remember this!

magical year but there is only one Joe....Myles will have a solid year and the QB stable is full behind him.

the is a preemptive strike for next years theme...relax LSU is going to be a force for a while now.

how many times have we been told Bama will "take a step back" next year?

You do realize they have elite recruits sitting on their bench, with another elite recruiting class coming in the fall. Just because we don't know their names yet, doesn't mean they don't have other superstars waiting in the wings.

That goes the same who has to do what Tua has done for crimson Tide. Bama bout to have another 10-2 record next season. Really like Brennan and the rest the QBs LSU has.

He ain’t gotta win the Heisman, just don’t make stupid mistakes and all will be well!

Overall their team will be great as usual but offensively they won't have the same firepower

They lose Tua, Jeudy, Smith, Ruggs, and Harris on offense

On defense they lose Diggs, Jennings and could possibly lose Moses and Lewis

It will be a rebuild year for them (which probably has a floor of 2 losses based on overall talent) unless a QB really steps up

Brennan could duplicate Rohan Davey’s incredible season and Tiger Nation will be a bit disappointed.

Bad take.

1. Most of our fans aren't that stupid.

2. Brennan will have a good career. Probably better than the average LSU career.

3. Brennan looked happier than everybody but Coach O immediately after the Alabama win. I think he takes the glass half full approach and plays pressure free (especially if we win the title this year).

You have to hope everyone around him improves as well.

Our OL is a lot better than 2018, but we also still give up a lot of sacks, and that’s with Joe doing an amazing job extending plays.

Mett would have been sacked 40 times this year.

Better protection and Brennen doesn’t have to be a human highlight real before throwing the ball.
