Nussmeier is part of the problem. I blame BK for running a read option type of offense; it does not fit Nussmeier. I blame Nussmeier for not running when he has clear opportunities and for not stepping up in the pocket when he feels some pressure. He has made good NIL money and has played at LSU. I might be wrong, but I think that LSU is the end of the line for him. He is not very big, has little ability to move in the pocket, and he does not like contact.

I don’t know what’s true or not true, but usually all rumors have some basis of fact behind them. And there are a lot of rumors swirling around Nuss this year regarding whether he put in the work in the offseason, whether he spent enough time in the film room using VR equipment, what injury he sustained, how much that injury affected his play,

All I can tell you is what I’ve seen with my own eyes. He plays scared a lot. He gets rid of the ball too early to avoid getting hit. He has been inaccurate in putting the ball where the receiver can gain YAC. He stares down receivers and telegraphs throws too often and he throws off his back foot a lot.

The oline has contributed to his poor play and so has the play calling. The coaching staff makes the ultimate decision to play him and there was a stretch of games that he probably shouldn’t have been playing at all.

It’s unfortunate, because it comes across as selfish from him, or blind allegiance to him from the coaching staff.

So, you can blame him for his lack of preparation in the offseason or study in the film room if those things are true, but all of the other issues fall strictly on Kelly, including the decision to play him.

Do you feel 4 Million x's bad for Nuss? I dont. It took me my whole life to amass that..He is 22 and not worth a fraction of that.
Do not feel bad for this multimillionaire.

I dont ... despite the Oline issues, does he look like a QB that put in the necessary training over this past off-season?... Physically & mentally?

Absolutely this. He coasted all off season, yet collected mucho $. I don't feel bad for him one bit.

Now, does the OL deserve a ton of blame? Absolutely! Sloan and Davis need to be canned immediately.

How many millions is he making? Most people get fired for not doing their job, yet he makes millions to destroy what was once a great program. Five more games and then he is gone. Thank God.

not me. he is a pro player now and gets paid.

i was never for booing college players but now with NIL and them being pros getting paid we can boo the frick outta them just like in NFL. Kelly should be booed off the field

What baby bitch mannerisms? Hate on the kid, beat him down whatever but making stuff up to fit your narrative isn’t wrong.

It’s truly remarkable how bad Davis is OL coach. It’s been this way since he’s been here.

Ppl saying it’s the S/C coach and this wouldn’t happen under moffit don’t know what they’re talking about. They are poorly coached on technique. Get out leveraged every game.

On to of that, you have a horrible OC that calls a run game like Daniels is still the QB

Yeah! How much did LSU spend on NIL since last season? Has it made a difference?

From Nuss Bus to Bust Nut and it didn’t take long. It’s hard to feel sorry for a college athlete making more money than the average person will make in a lifetime of working.

He’s either regressed or is injured. He’s also getting paid seven figures. I don’t feel as bad.

How many talent scouts on this board predicted Boutte would never make an NFL Roster.

According to the Bloggers that I have seen, Nuss is consistently getting good grades from the professional talent scouts. At least higher than the rest of the team.
