I know the decision was right for him to move on. But he did his time, made the most of his situation and only had a half season left. Hopefully he doesn’t think twice about it. Just a fan’s wish he could of got a ring.

He knew there was a good chance to miss out on a ring when he left. Not what I would have done or advised, but I guess he had his reasons.

Why was it the right decision to move on?

He made the decision to quit on the team.

Good luck to the young man in any endeavor he chooses.

I don't think Fournette (or anyone else for that matter0 believed there was a good chance he would miss out on a ring.

Lanard, not Leonard.

And, I mean, bad things happen to rich people too

His brother is the millionaire. Not him.

I was thinking about that this morning. He's not the only one either. There were a few others that left over the summer. McCallum, Netherly, and Joseph come to mind. I wonder what's going through their minds today.

Eh I think He made the decision fully knowing that was it

Football is hard.

The time commitment and physical toll on the boys is hard. To out that in for 5 year and get not much out of it besides some fun memories is hard.

Can you imagine Fournette in this offense?

He had his degree and probably knew his role wasn’t going to be big. But it would seem like a championship would be a pretty good goal for all his hard work. In October, that was definitely a good possibility.

ABSOLUTELY zero chance he gets one and even less of a chance that he deserves one! He quit, that's his loss! Divinity did the same when he got popped but then realized he could continue to work for the ultimate goal and the possibility of playing one more time! No way lanyard gets a ring!

Im pretty sure I said exactly that he might miss out on a championship season when he left the team. And I took it further saying that if he was leaving to escape LF7's shadow, this was his chance to do better than his brother, by being on a championship team.
