I'd like to book mark this and say, I'll check in on you in 3 years but, BK will be on his way out the door with a huge buy out in tow, like Jimbo got from Tam by way of Scotty.

Let's presume all of that is true.

Doesn't excuse last Saturday night.

At all.

I know you know this, but you can't argue with LSU fans. "Realistic' isn't in our vocabulary as a fan base.. any logical fan knows the situation we were in and the direction this program is heading. Just keep the bookmarks updated to go back and laugh in the future.

I’m sorry so we should just ignore the facts? The fact is when Kelly took over LSU was a Kentucky/Miss state caliber team.

This is simply not true. We were less than 2 seasons from winning a dominating NC when we fire a HC mid season. There was first round talent on that roster. This wasn’t a job that had zero interest.

Kelly let go of coaches that he later decided to bring back. Certainly he could have prevented some of the attrition on the players side by the time he took the job. He could have gotten some more talented DBs, and he should have gotten better special teams personnel by now.

I think what people are most concerned with is that it is becoming apparent that Kelly is losing a lot of the culture LSU had over 3 different coaches. Built on defense, physical DBs, punishing run game, tactical special teams and deep talent at every position. What is this teams identity? If it’s not there yet, where is it going?

You talk about facts that are quite old and stale. The fact is now that Kelly looks lost in the biggest games. What inspires you about the future? What exactly is more time running the program going to do to leave aTm with a win next time? To win an opening game?

I still think Kelly can have success here, but pointing to the past is becoming less productive each week.

This game was very winable. We all saw the first half. Everyone watching this game thought we had it by halftime, even Nuss. That was the problem. You can never lose focus in the SEC You have to put the game away. We got too high on ourselves and complacent - in Saban jargon , rat poison. I think we learned our lesson. We should be humble from here on out.

The calling card of the fraud that is Kelly is to lose to teams that you are better than, while not being able to win the big games consistently.

Saturday was the second time THIS YEAR we were beat by an inferior team.

We just got outcoached with a first year coach doing what Kelly did three years ago. Not only that, he did it with a second string QB.

He is clearly one of the MANY P5 coaches that are superior to Kelly.

I would add that they were better than A&M for 2 1/2 quarters... kinda fell apart in the worst way imaginable. The team leading the SEC at their place with patchwork DL and DBs still...

They aren't that far off.

What makes people think we will compete next year? We will lose a ton of players

the hope is that the younger players are more talented than the upperclassmen that are leaving

I think we are looking at a similar 9-3 type year next year as well

We were physically abused by Kentucky just 3 years ago, yes Kentucky.

Kentucky finished 10-3. They were about where A&M is now. We were just physically abused by A&M.

We lost 14-20

We could have easily been what Florida is now

Florida is 2-2 in conference play, 4-3 overall. We are 3-1 in conference play. 5-2 overall. Thank you officials in South Carolina.

LSU played in the SEC championship in Kelly’s first year.

More like: LSU backed into the SECG Kelly's first year because the SECW was horrid. BK lost a pivotal game at aTm, then promptly got blown out the following week.

So, to follow the pattern, lost to an inferior team, then got blown the frick out by a better team.

That is BK in a nutshell.

Get used to it.
