I don't get it

This was all started over a kid from Perry Georgia whose father died young and was raised by his mom and an aunt. He dedicated his life to playing football and entertained and pleased many sec fans. He finishes his 4th year of eligibility and pursues his dream of playing in the NFL. It doesn't work out but college changes the rules and says you can play 5 years. College also changes and pays players. He sees this as an opportunity to provide for his family. A woke Tennessee cuck hold decides this man shouldn't get a fair shot. Am I missing something?

The SEC is heartless.
It would be shameful if we keep playing games with its logo.

This happened because the SEC believes that LSU challenged their authority. That’s it. No other schools did that. No other schools tried to do that. A lot of teams have challenged the NCAA, but not the SEC.

The SEC is corrupt. LSU should make an attempt to join the B1G to stick it to the SEC. If Nebraska is not an AAU member, LSU doesn’t have to be. It’s like Jenga and LSU leaving is like taking out a block from the base of the foundation.
The B1G would be American’s conference and other SEC teams would consider leaving too to get a hold of that new TV deal.

I'll be honest I'm not sure how I feel regarding some of this. Going after Kiffin is ridiculous and the SEC looks stupid for sure. I'm fine with a player who didn't get picked to play in the NFL, coming back in this situation. Not sure how I feel about a player, who went through camp, played preseason games, got paid, then cut, coming back to college.
Saying that, I don't blame Lane Kiffin for trying. Bbbbbuuuuuuttt, the young man never was on the roster, so this is all stupid. Should he be allowed to do it? I lean no, but if it starts happening, whatever, i wouldn't care.

I truly believe the long game is not going to favor the SEC in this. When the media inevitably starts taking the side of the players as this case continues LSU will be the school that tried to stand up for the players and the SEC bullied them into denying these young men an opportunity to make an honest living for 1 more year.

Both players are about to get paid. SEC is going to lose the lawsuit against Tony Clayton.

He didn't appear in either of Cleveland's first two preseason games. Wright hasn't practiced in more than a week, but he dressed for the Browns' second preseason game against the Buffalo Bills on Saturday. Browns coach Todd Monken said Wright has been sidelined because of an injury.
Also, he'd get paid way more at LSU than in the pros. This whole thing is completely upside-down.

He will win more money sitting down in court than playing football at this point.
These university presidents think they are so smart. They will soon find out. Keep cheering on the clown, while the bull gets you.

See that’s what is sad. Dude suited up one game in preseason never played a snap. I mean I feel for him I can’t imagine dressing with high hopes to just watch. Wish them both well.

Clayton will file a class action suit and sue all of them. Make it rain Tony!

The only thing he was guilty of is that he was actually good at football to get invited to a training camp. The others only participated in minicamp trying to make a training camp, but suck at football... so they can play.

Did the players go to the NFL camps after the NCAA made the decision to let them go back to college and play?

Yeah, someone from the NCAA/SEC/Big 10, etc needs to explain why a football player who applies for the draft with eligibility left loses such regardless even if not selected while a college baseball player with eligibility can either be drafted and get a contract offer or not drafted and yet can come back to college.

I have seen not one single person be for that EXCEPT for this 2022 class who got screwed when the NCAA changed the eligibility policy just several weeks after the pro drafts. Even Kiffin has says this should be a 1 year deal.

the governor and his avarice for attention could be what puts LSU in a hole. Why must he interject himself into this?
