following LSU since 1969 when i was 10 years old. this season just has "bad dream" written all over it. watched a couple games this weekend, and they seemed like glorified practices. maybe watching MY TEAM will enhance MY enthusiasm.
am i alone in feeling like this???

That it feels like a bad dream season? Yes.

That enthusiasm for sports is down? No.

It certainly does not have the same feeling.

It's an asterisk year, but it is certainly something. The quality of games hasn't been great, but some are still entertaining (North Carolina - Syracuse, The Sun Belt upsets, Georgia Tech - Florida State). I'd expect the quality of play to strengthen as the season progresses.

I'm just hoping that we'll be able to finish the season. I do have my doubts.

No. I'm less pumped about CFB than I have been since the early 1990s.

Yes you are alone with that thought I don't need a hell of a lot to get me excited about LSU football

I’m mad we didn’t play this weekend. I watched all the games and saw 3 teams that could beat us. I think we have a real shot to repeat.

All depends on Oline and Myles. If they’re both the truth I think we go 9-1 and might win the whole fricking thing

I’m extremely excited

That just isn't true. People in general are not as excited about sports right now. It isn't just an LSU thing.

The different and unknown aspects of 2020 make it more exciting to me. I literally have no idea what kind of team we'll field from week-to-week.

Yep

Doesn’t mean people won’t watch or have some level of excitement, of course they will. But there’s no doubt that the general public’s overall level of excitement for sports is down for the moment.

If it were not for wanting to see Brennan I wouldn't really be excited.

Watched a few parts of games. Felt like I was watching spring games. Having trouble getting into it.

This season is a mixed bag. The limited crowds in stadiums and no tailgating sucks. No doubt about it. Players opting out of the season sucks. However the chance to have an all SEC schedule is pretty damn cool. I’m looking at this as a once in a lifetime event and just want to enjoy the ride. This is the Haley’s comet of college football seasons gentlemen. Embrace the suck.
