Nothing screams determination of a man more than working through the night with a fat chaw in and calculated spitting. I bet Steve developed periodontal disease just in that one night.

It is absurd to believe that he won't try to come up with the best offensive game-plan possible. He's an LSU guy through and through; he does not want to upset Tiger Nation. I think we will be surprised/impressed come Saturday afternoon. At the end of the day, it's up to our OL and Burrow to execute the game-plan and score points. Steve can only do so much.

I think we're going to come out swinging and not let up. We comin', baws.

Man out here grinding the late nights making sure we are prepared for the game and ppl still talkin shite. This is what I want in a coaching staff... Sacrificing personal comfort for the readiness and success for the program. The man is old as shite and he's grinding like a young college student, of course only if all of this is "true"

we comin

“At the end of the day”, it’s up to the coaching staff to put the players in a position to win.

You think that’s happening on offense?

Why does it have to be a surprise?

We say that so much these days, "I think ________ will surprise people." Why can't those in question be consistently excellent? That's what we need to become champions again.

When you have coaches in your program and most of them need to surprise people, then that's just a recipe for disaster.

Is he grinding bcs he hasn’t been a full time gameplanner in 20 years and can’t rely on experience doing it over that time, thus must cram like a Freshman in finals week who didn’t go to class

Or

Bcs he has so much offense in his head he can’t possibly get it down on paper on a normal day?

I don’t think anyone is denying the work eithic or want to behind O and Ensminger. The question is wether or not they have the collective ability to design, install, and coach a competent SEC offense. The early evidence is that they do not have the ability to call plays and make necessary adjustments to be productive on offense. Of course they want to, but do they have the innovation to actually do it, we’ll see.

It's called game planning lol the auburn team right now is not the same auburn team from 20 years ago or even last year. Football schemes and methods change so fast, from the I form to the read option to the spread to RPOs. That's why Les is gone he couldn't keep up... He used his "past experience" that got him success and never adjusted.
Bill Bellicheck is the perfect example he can completely recreate his scheme and game plan each and every week to match up against his opponents...
Game planning each week is different, still gotta watch the film and draw it up, 20 years of experience or not

Yes it will be a surprise--a surprise in how bad the offense is. It is surprising how bad the offense was in the second half of last weeks game.
