Dude the NFL is the WWE. The games are fixed and it doesnt matter. 1/9/12 was the greatest defeat in the history of college football. It's not even the same thing.

1/9 100%
Sunday hurt and I’m still upset about it but it took me years to get over 1/9. Idk if I’m even all the way over it now.

In one game, the better team got cheated out of a win. In the other, a team got utterly embarrassed on the national stage and has yet to come close to recovering.

They aren't remotely similar.

1/9 was just a pathetic showing and we took a monumental beatdown.

1/20 was an absolute fist fricking by the refs (just like the '18 aTm game, but with greater stakes on the line).

So does it hurt more to show up on colleg football's biggest stage and absolutely lay an egg and get nostril raped by your arch rival who backed their way into the game?... or does it hurt more to lose out in pro football's semi final because of taking the rosy red meat missile up the snickers highway from the refs when your team did just enough to win their place in the Super Bowl?

That's a personal judgment call.

I could say the same thing about getting cheated for having to play them again.

1/20. 1/9/12 was horrible and it still hurts to this day because it hurt our football program for years but what happened on Sunday can not be compared to 1/9/12.

1/20 felt like someone victimized me. On 1/9/12 we just got beat plain and simple and what happened is the result of our failures on the field. What happened Sunday was out of our control and the outcome was not determined by the 22 players on the field but by the officials which should never happen. I’ll never be able to get over 1/20 but the day we’re able to beat Alabama again is the day that I’ll be able to move on from 1/9/12

Damn, I'm as big a Tiger fan as anyone but it is just a game played by a bunch of college kids you don't even know. As for the Saints, they were robbed and I have no doubt the NFL puts its finger on the scale to get the results it wants. But the Saints had plenty of chances and didn't bring their best game. They really didn't look like a Super Bowl team.

So the team that never led once and had to be gifted an extra chance just to make it to OT looks like a Super Bowl team? Good to know, dumbass. It doesn’t matter how many “chances” they had. They got fricked over when they did just enough to win in regulation. That’s the bottom line.

1/9 was painful. 1/20 pissed me off to no end.
