Nothing changes.

2019 was stacked on both sides of the ball

2023 defense sucked

To minimize Burrow. It’s becoming a very popular exercise among Rantards.

Who knows and who cares Jim? We had the greatest CFB season ever in 2019. That was with Burrow. Burrow had the best CFB season ever.

Jayden Daniels circuit 2023 was maybe the most dynamic CFB season I’ve ever seen.

Both can be true.

Burrow is suspended for punching Major Burns during practice.

I posted this before but Here are guys that are still on NFL rosters on the defensive side

Stingley
Fulton
Delpit
Chaisson
Siaka (contributed but left)
Patrick queen
Damone Clarke

Then guys like cordale Flott or Jay ward who were just freshman but still on NFL rosters. And a bunch of other guys that were on rosters for a few years.

That 2019 defense is severely underrated

Actually no. Daniels'stats were in part because he had to. On a more balanced team maybe he doesn't have as much opportunity. Conversely maybe Burrow fas even better stats playing on the 2023 team. Those were my thoughts, I was interested what others think.

You guys can be really paranoid.

Daniels had Nabers and Thomas which aren’t far off from Chase and Jefferson.

With Burrow Nabers and Thomas probably look even better than they did. Burrow also pulls out wins versus Fla St and Ole Miss in 2023.

No kidding

They're both Heisman winning LSU QBs and are adored by our fanbase

You could make arguments over who might be better or how they would have done in different circumstances without disliking one or the other

Madking really hates that he was wrong about Daniels being an elite qb so he’s lashing out

I'd wager both units would have similar results because both were very talented QBs

LSU’s defense was terrible in 2023 but people like to ignore that the offense choked in the losses. Especially against Ole Miss.. had the ball and the lead with a few minutes left and couldn’t pick up a 1st down.

I don’t think Burrow takes us to 9-3 last season because of personnel. We needed a burner at QB

But I dunno if Jayden goes 15-0 in 2019 either. Burrow was surgical in that Bama game and I highly, HIGHLY doubt Daniels gets that crucial 1st down run that Burrow got. Burrow isn’t as fast as Daniels obviously, but he’s still the smartest runner at QB I’ve ever seen. If you left ANY hole for him to run and no one was open he would make you pay, every time.

However they’re both 2 of the best QB’s I’ve ever seen in college.

LSU wins the first FSU game if there were not special teams errors.

LSU beats Ole Miss his Hilton holds onto the ball that hits him in the hands.

The things that cost us games were outside of the QB's control.
