Hurd struggles mentally when he feels he gets squeezed by the umps.

Yes. He really had a 14.06 era in the SEC tourney and people are saying it was a good performance.

Yes, Hurd seems to be getting close. If his next appearance continues his recent improvement it could be the final piece to a run to Omaha. We need that, and we need Ack to keep it together. His appearance today was very heartening.

Hurd can get one out or 18 but the first batter that gets on by walk, hit or error, pull him. He will completely implode thereafter.
