Hunt is not a sunshine pumper and even picked Baylor to win.

Cliffs:
Nuss played really well and could have scored on 5/6 drives minus Anderson's drop and fumble.

Makeshift OL and 3 of top 4 receivers out and he didn't miss a beat.

Hilton and Green are going to change the receiving dynamic going forward. Hilton and Barion Brown's speed add what we lacked most of this season.

Hunt thinks Nuss obviously needs to clean up the mistakes, but is the best returning SEC QB.

Nuss had a receiver wide open underneath on the pass Anderson dropped in end zone
Had he checked it down they likely keep that drive going and don’t have to settle for fg that was blocked

I think we can all agree that the bowl game went well, considering the circumstances. I think the OL and new weapons performed up to the standard, but it's obviously going to come down to if they can continue to do it against SEC competition. there is still room for improvement all around. The main concern was the defensive performance that needs to improve.

Or Anderson could have just caught the pass.

Theres not a QB in the nation that would rather check down from a play where he could hit a WR in the end zone. Because if you fear guys dropping TD passes in the EZ, then you have no offense

I agree, but that's not the subject of the thread or video.

Part of his maturation will be to sometimes quickly take what the defense gives him rather than constantly look (and sometimes force) the bigger play downfield.

LSU is going to have some dudes at WR who can make people miss in space (Thomas, A. Anderson, Brown) along with a guy like Durham and (hopefully) Berry. If you can get them the ball quickly in space they can turn a pass that traveled 4 yards in the air into a 15 yard gain. That's often going to be a higher % play than trying to squeeze a throw into a tight window 25 yards down field. Three 15 yards chunks on a drive is often going to be better than that one 25 yard pass you hit once out of every 4 attempts.

should forget about hoops and hone his craft as a receiver, he looks like he could be pretty special

That's why my first two sentences were about the offense. I can edit and delete the last sentence if that would make it better.

Aren't you the dude who shite on the CWS title team basically all season? Your opinions constantly suck. You are basically wrong about it everything you have ever posted about. I assume you are either a 12 year old or have a learning disability.

You replied to the OP 8 minutes after I posted it and it contains a 10 minute video so I doubt you watched it. Maybe watching the video which was the purpose of the thread would help. I didn't transcribe it verbatim.

This was legitimately one of Nuss’ best passes of the season lol

Conversely, on AA’s tiptoe catch on the sideline, Hilton was wide open deep for a TD. The pass rush made Nuss retreat out of the pocket where he threw a great ball to AA on the run.

Have you every thought that maybe some people have already listened to his show that has already aired? This is the opening segment from his show yesterday.

I'm not totally convinced that wasn't an attempt to throw it away and Anderson caught it. I was also thinking at the time "Oh shite, here comes a pick 6!"

The secondary was pathetic.

It was extremely rough, and even from a guy that was great all year in Zy Alexander too.

We got so lucky on that one turnover on downs the Baylor receiver's heel was just OOB in the end zone and then the other receiver tipping the pass right into Dahvon Keys for the easy pick 6.

Those 2 plays right there were basically the difference in this being a game vs. not.
