Huge win and glad we did. I became more and more frustrated as the night wore on by his refusal to run the damn ball up the gut. Williams was averaging 7 ypc and he at times he stopped running completely.

We kept them off balance which ultimately won us the game.

We just beat Bama in Death Valley in our new HC’s first year after fielding a WR at QB in our last bowl game.

Eat some cake & drink a beer bro.

You really should consider serious reflection of who you are and what is your purpose in life. LSU just bear Bama with lesser talent, after ending season with 27 scholarship players, a new HC, 2 new coordinators, new QB, kicker, raze/rebuild of culture, and whirl wind of transfer portal roster changes.

Yet, you have managed to over look all of that to find something to bitch about.

Mindset, grasshopper. Time for a new one.

A win is a win, but the whole game I kept asking why they kept throwing so much.
They were running up the middle really effectively imo.

Love the downvotes. Huge win and I am fricking going crazy over the win!

Just saying, 7 ypc up the gut and consistently not attacking it…we left points on the field.

I hear and agree with your point, but just celebrate for now.

We could have kept drives goin in the fourth by riding our interior who were abusing Bama’s dline. Stopped running inside on first downs and it almost changed the game….but we did it!!!!!!

In this case we were passing to run not vice versa.

Correct. If the OP watches the game again, and puts those rushing stats in context, he will see that Bama made an adjustment. We had several run plays that were gobbled up for short, no gain, or losses. We responded by going a little pass-heavy at that point to loosen the defense up again. It worked. Sometimes you just have to take what the defense gives you.
