I'm upset that I missed this last trip to Omaha, but I fully intend on making the trip next time we're there. And knowing Jay, I won't have to wait long. See you there

Back in April, I had a medical emergency, and spent some time in the hospital, then a while recovering, and dealing with some personal issues at the same time. So much happened at once, and I'm not going into detail, but things are a lot better now.

I am so glad you have made a full recovery.

My hospital stay was 9 days. I watched Joe Burrow and the Bengals beat the Chiefs on January 30, 2022 from a hospital bed.

I was touch and go for a bit. Reading some of your posts and others got me through it in the hospital.

I needed a lot of rehab and LSU baseball was a big part of making me feel normal again.

Thanks again for all you’ve done on this board. You’ve impacted so many in a positive way.

You were missed and right there with us for that glorious baseball run.

I've watched all the tournament games now, but wasn't on TD to see the reactions. I can only imagine TD after we lost to Little Rock in the regional

Shoooo you should of been here a month after the season started they had a poster who said the pitching wasn't as good as advertised. Imagine that we won it all with hardly any pitching. lol

JML! Great to see you. I'm feeling a lot better now, thanks for everything you do ETA: Assuming there's a baseball scrimmage the Friday before, I'll be at the Box for it, probably on the 1st base side with Scuba

Cheer, I go to many of the Fall scrimmages (sometimes post in Scuba’s or Wild’s threads). If you go to the scrimmage that Friday, I’d love come say Hi. If it happens to be Coaches Committee only (I doubt it but you never know), I’m happy to get you in if you need.

Thanks! I'll let you know. My plan for the trip is something like this:

Thursday afternoon: Drive from Georgia to Montgomery
Friday: Finish the drive to BR, watch a baseball scrimmage
Saturday: Football game vs. South Carolina
Sunday: Drive back to Georgia
Monday: Recovery day

Ha, I was in that crowd stranded outside of Esso @ 2 am. We had rented a bus to take us from/to Greenville. Meeting spot for return was Esso. Long story short bus didn’t show until about 3 am.

Big fan of your baseball gameday posts. Have had to use them to keep up with a game on many occasions when traveling abroad and even when watching will go to your post history to get the BPB on previous ABs

Glad to hear you’re doing ok and got to enjoy that win in person

Good to see you back, Cheer.

I had no idea I would be taking over your BPB duties for the CWS, but happy I did it. Those bonus checks from Chicken came in handy.
