How'd the Nega's do this weekend with their prognostication.

Morbidtheclown... defintely lose tonight. maybe another weekend where we squeak out a sunday win to avoid getting swept.
Cubbiblue922... Swept if we continue to struggle with runners in scoring position.

Look, not a nega, just a realist. We were extremely fortunate Saturday. And I know that's part of baseball. But to hammer on guys who are essentially complaining about us not playing up to our potential and bad coaching is wrong. PM has made soem boneheaded mistakes over the years, and he's also made some genius maneuvers.... but even I lost my cool earlier this year when we were playing Fla and he refused to bunt in a 1-0 game, and we had a guy on 2nd with no outs. That run should be almost automatic.
Anyway, this piggy series could've gone either way very easily. Both of our heralded pitchers got rung up pretty good- especially Lange. After a year where we lost head coaches, and consistently didn't live up to expectations, baseball was our great hope. And it looks like we are not close to the team we thought we were- at least not yet.
So, give ppl a break... they're frustrated, and rightly so.

if not for a miracle Saturday i would have been right on.
but, i'm glad we won. If i can be wrong and we win every series, i'm ok with that.
