I think Jamarr Chase is the best of the bunch but not by much. His route running and catching fundamentals are superb. Chase will play a long time in the NFL.

Terrance Marshal is right behind Chase IMO. Good route running and elite ability to get separation at the point of attack due to his size.

Jefferson at three but only because his route running is not as crisp as Chase's but as he has the uncanny ability to get separation at the point of attack. I think the reason for this is he has the best hips on the field. He can turn and change direction on a time (only very slightly) and is stronger than he looks.

i can't disagree with any of this if we're talking about talent only, but Burrow and Jefferson's rapport is obvious

I think there are a lot of ways to rank them in which all 3 are #1.

Jefferson is not as athletic as Chase/Marshall but he seems to be the most capable/cerebral. Chase and Marshall are both freak athletes. Chase may be the most athletic. Marshall catches everything thrown to him.

It's going to be a fun season.

Chase #1, most talented for sure and even when not a productive as Jefferson he is so clutch! It’s a bold arse statement, but he has the potential to be 2nd ever at LSU only to Reed, yes-better than Clayton, Jarvis, and OBJ!
Jefferson #2 because of how productive he and his ability to create space and he catches 90% of his targets.
Marshall could be #1 on 125 teams in college football, his ability to catch a ball in stride, push DBs off, and streak to the end zone is special. His size, physicality, and quickness make him an ideal red zone target!

Characterize? Awesome - starting 3 are ballers

Each are a little different/ better at different things which is really great for match ups.

The other night I was trying to rank them. I was leaning towards Chase as #1, then one of the others would do something awesome and have me second guessing. Honestly, I'm just excited about all three of them.

I think Jefferson is the best right now. Not the most talented but the best.

And just look at his recruiting profile:

3 star: Nicholls, Tulane, Northwestern, and LSU

Jefferson is the best route runner on the team and has a Josh Reed-esque knack for always getting open.

Chase-King of the Sidelines. Dominates outside the hashes.

Jefferson-Across the middle. No one goes over the middle like he does.

Marshall-Redzone master-also really good about find a pocket around the sticks and sitting in it for the QB.
