The Rant thanks you for being so kind. Now isn’t it time for you to go punch in for your shift?

Professional excuse maker…

It wouldn't have changed the outcome. They have more talent on defense and an almost equally talented QB. BK is in his 2nd year Saban his 20th. Once BK gets the talent we will see how goos BK is. I personally think we hit a homerun with BK.

Do yourself a favor ignore these "coaches" here that would gut this coaching staff after ever loss. They are self righteous fools who ruin college programs.

Why bother charging someone for murder? You can’t change that outcome either.

Because bama players play like they won’t get called for penalties.

In this game, the bias from the refs couldn’t have been much more clear. It was a good game, and then two possessions later it was over.

The personal foul penalty did give LSU a first down

I agree this did not lose the game for LSU as you can't win against good teams with a defense as bad as LSU

but

How was that play a personal foul and not targeting? That hit was textbook of what targeting was supposed to stop from happening.

Why have a rule designed to eliminate this type of injury if it is selectively ignored

A certain football player suffering from some random unfortunate accident would be a start for karma.

I hope the SEC office comes down with lice

It wouldn't have changed the outcome. We did not lose the game because of that play. The game was lost because we still cannot have discipline in our rush lanes and allow a running QB to scramble at will and our DC refuses to make any adjustment.

Our defense is terrible and that is the reason we lost. Once Campbell got called for a hold on a huge scramble the game unraveled. Our Offense had to play perfect to have a chance to win the game because of how bad our defense is. And our offense did not play perfect.

Bama would have lost Turner for the 4th qtr but Daniels wasn’t coming back

So we just ignore the rules because it won't affect the game outcome???

So why have the rule???

Player safety doesn't matter if if doesn't affect the game???

The horse collar call on Perkins was more impactful than the non calls against bama. That was one of our few stops and bama most likely would have punted.

It would not have. We needed 1 stop and didn't get it plus the int . Both of those allowed the 42 points. The game would have ended 35 to 35 > OT or we would have won it 38 35 or 42 35 with 1 stop. However with the hit and the 2 other items - just too much to overcome. On top of that we were just good not great as BK said. This team is too flawed to beat a top 10 team without perfect off. play and a little bit of defense.

how would the SEC feel then knowing they allowed for this behavior to take place.

The majority of "leadership" in the SEC are Bama alum. They would applaud it.

The SEC does not care about player safety. Never have, never will.

I've been saying how corrupt this conference is for years. It is funny watching those in denial try to rationalize what they saw Saturday night (again).

It wouldn’t have. It’s just annoying to see when it’s so obvious that it’s targeting.

It either is or it isn’t. But there’s no review to even check it. That’s what’s annoying.

How many times have you seen a similar thing and the ref goes out there and turns on his mic and announces to the entire stadium “the previous play is under review.”

That didn’t happen. I know he says “they” reviewed it but come on. I’ve seen them break out the headset and that little monitor and review it for what seems like forever for far less.

That didn’t happen here. Are we following the rules or not? That’s part of your job as an official, correct?

Exactly.

There wasn’t even a “hmmm, let’s look at that just to see if there is or isn’t targeting.”

It didn’t even get that far.

Targeting getting called does not get us a new defense.

There was nothing that was going to help the LSU Defense. They were out for the count.

I seriously doubt Turner being ejected swings the momentum to LSU

It’s not about “swinging the momentum” to LSU. It’s about following the rules and the ref (actually two) are staring right at it. Doesn’t even get reviewed.

That’s what has people ticked off.

I'm so glad Gary mentioned Devin White after that hit. Devin White targeting call was as bad as this no-call.

I think it would have changed the final score but not the outcome.

Damage was already done. LSU wasn’t scoring (and didn’t) without Daniels in the game.
