Since the Natty is basically not happening I hope the powers that be let us play Notre Dame on New Years Day so we can settle this nonsense.

It would be yet another game where the opponent cares far more than we do. Maybe in a few years once Kelly’s players are gone.

If Kelly wins a NC at LSU, their fanbase is going to absolutely melt. Unfortunately, with the way it's looking right now, I'm not sure it will ever happen.

7 games in to Nick Saban’s 2nd year LSU had just gotten spanked at home by Ole Miss and was 4-3 and unranked.

They aren't making the playoffs because they aren't running the table. They'll be left out just like us and when Hartman leaves after this year, they won't be nearly as good. Y'all are just bitter with BK after last week.

Okay, they could be jealous ex-girlfriends...doesn't mean what they are saying isn't right.

If bama was eliminated we would see it all over LSU boards. I know we hate bama but some of our fans act like NS left to go to bama.

Notre Dame fought from behind and won their game last week. Let them have their fun. Return to winning close games and we can make fun of them.

You have an ND flair but continue to act like you're an LSU fan - why? And we don't compare ourselves to you guys at all. Nobody here is worried about your program in the way your entire fanbase obsesses over ours. It's a one-sided hatred and it's pretty pathetic to be honest.

Because I live in reality. You can think they have no shot at running the table, and you might be right. But either way, they are currently in a better spot that LSU. You have no clue who their quarterback will be next year, so you're just guessing.

And yeah, I am a little bitter about BK at the moment because we just gave up a record number of yards. Which also goes into why ND is in a better spot than LSU at the moment.

They’re as asshurt over Kelly leaving them for LSU as we were when Saban went to Alabama.

Another troll who's too stupid to hide the fact that he's a ND fan. How predictable.

Your team hasn't won shite in 35 fricking years. You're just another has-been program like Nebraska and OU.

Someone report this dumbass and ban him from posting. He's been caught trolling the politics board multiple times.

Yeah. They lost at home to OSU on the final play. They also have a soft as shite schedule and don’t play a conference championship. They will be in the playoffs every year once it grows to 12 teams.

And last week at this time, you would have said LSU was in a better spot. Let the season play out and don't be a prisoner of the moment.

Short of Caleb Williams or Drake Maye type talents, it doesn't matter who they have next year. It won't be enough to elevate the rest of roster to a legit championship contender. Making the playoffs and winning a natty are two very different things.

As am I, but when you take a step back and look at the big picture rather than one game, I still believe we're in a better spot to win it all going forward.

It’s the same as childish lsu fans doing the same thing to saban. ND is obviously better off without BK, odd isn’t it

True.
Kelly has been gone from ND for 2 years.
Talking about obsession, How long has it been since Saban was here?

How is this any different than LSU fans being obsessed with Billy Napier. Pot meet kettle

No I wouldn’t have. I was very skeptical that LSU needed a last second field goal to beat Arkansas and recognize that we still have more tough games to play.

But your whole point is that they are in a better spot than LSU. LSU has one of their worst defenses of all time. And on the offensive side we will be losing our QB, top 2 receivers. And possibly our starting running back.

I’m just going to have to disagree, unless we are talking about in like 5 years, which in that case I have no clue. I’m honestly worried that we are going to be worse next year than we are this year.

That's literally the exact opposite of my point. We'll just agree to disagree. You talk about living in reality, yet you choose to ignore Brian Kelly's proven track record of winning over a 30+ year career and would rather believe in a guy who's been a head coach for all of 1.5 seasons. Solid logic.
