Honestly...if at any point we lose 2 conference games, coaches should strongly consider it.

Hurts didn't have the a very good NC game, but he did score the go-ahead 31-yard TD run with 2:00 minutes left in the game. I'd take 14-1 with a true freshman anytime.

Jake Bently, Matthew Stafford and Chris Leake. They didnt win or compete for a title,but still had good seasons and elevated their teams

Those of us that understand the schedule and where we stand talent wise will know we are a 9-3 or 8-4 this year. I have come to grips with that. Etling will do down at some point this year. When this happens, we need to plan for what is a legitimate shot at the playoffs in 2018. Let Brennen embrace what will come. We will have the same record no matter the QB.

I don't know if Brennen will replace him in any meaningful snaps unless injury , But I do think Brennen I will get more snaps in the rent a win games. Way more than miles used to give his second string quarterback in those type of games

I hate the whole rant tradition of worshipping our bench players, I use to rag on ppl for it. But for some reason, I'm slowly starting to get on the Brennan train. I'm not out here yelling for him to start, but it seems like something is different about him. At the end of the day though, I know Canada will put the best guy back there. This isn't a Les Miles coached team anymore. So I'm just letting my faith in Canada play out.
