agreed, although I want to see what Brennan is capable of I also fear bringing him before he's physically ready could be a disaster. Kid is pretty damn thin and I'm not sure if his current frame would hold up for very long .

Best case scenario is Etling has a good senior campaign without injury and you get Brennan some mop up duty. Etling is big question mark for me though , I'm really hoping his back injury was the problem last year . That INT he threw against Louisville was grimace worthy stuff , and he's prone to floating balls that I could shoot with a 20 gauge from 50 yards out.

Depends on how the season goes. Brennan won't replace him permanently until our season goals are off the table.

Etling will be the starter the entire season and be All-SEC.

Those of us that understand the schedule and where we stand talent wise will know we are a 9-3 or 8-4 this year.

I'm definitely not a sunshine pumper and I shared the above thoughts a few months ago but looking at the schedule (especially with ole miss, miss st, and arkansas coming back down to reality) I can't find 4 games that this team will lose.... I only see 3 potential losses for this team.... Alabama, Florida, Auburn.... and I honestly think they win at least one of those....

so I'm leaning more 9-3 or 10-2...

How is 5 quaterbacks in 15 years by any means good in your standards?

Agree, very few true freshman are ready to start game one, even with the talent level LSU recruits, it is rare.

What are you are so worried about? Getting too overly excited? Do you feel like you're at a strip club, wondering when the main attraction is going to start?

For example, if we get a big lead, it will not surprise me at all if Brennan comes in for a few series, if nothing else for game experience handing off the ball.

I really would like to go back to a schedule like when Flynn played well and Perrilloux got meaningful developmental snaps. I think both Brennan and Narcisse should get a few early in the season with a light Schedule. Although Etling needs to be sharp and play big for it to not create controversy.
