How Long Until Brennan Replaces Etling As Starter?

Lets go ahead and get this started in continuance of the lsu tradition of QB controversy whereupon we annoint the heralded freshman after reports of astounding, almost magical practice reports and deem the previous annointed rescuer as never being a legitimately good power 5 QB (but who would have done better at a smaller school).
What game and what quarter does Brennan take over for Etling?
I remember the good ole days when we asked this same question of Mettenberger and Jennings, when the consensus was Jennings replacing Mettenberger at ht of the first game of the season, against TCU. Good times.

Probably the 2nd quarter of the BYU game.

Depends on how well our O line holds up. The major key to our season in 2017 is the O line.

Hmmm...I'll give it one year, then Brennan will overtake Etling as the starter.

First hard pop Etling takes. I love how everyone has been like " He had back surgery. He is fine now. Better than before."
Dude had freaking back surgery...Manning was an idiot to come back and play after a fusion. Considering Etling's type of surgery, he is even more at risk for to re-injury.
I just do not see him finishing the season. But I hope I am wrong.

If Brennan can hit an open receiver 12 yds downfield he will accomplish what no LSU QB has done in the last 4 years.
