At the rate quarterbacks are getting injured, he may start or at least play before the season is over.
He needs to heal and be ready when he gets his opportunity.

Not too selfish to let another person do what they want with their life and career. You on the hand want a young man with potential to sit next to another guy in the same class for 4 years when he may want to play sooner.

How he's been handled in the media versus O and Canada gushing over DE and LN might make him feel the same way LS felt. Be nice if he sticks around, but I wouldn't blame him if he didn't. Nobody knows what could happen over 4 years, but he may not want to wait that long to find out.

He's going to be our goal line QB, I bet. No reason to show our hand yet.

Exactly. This person is no LSU fan. They are a Narcisse fan.

If they continue to emphasize Myles As the future of LSU. Not a nArcisse pumper but genuinely curious if anybody knows if he's willing to fight Myles for the job next year

The kid had BOTH knees blown out and did not play most (if not all) his senior year. He had a shot in the spring and summer.

It would be smart to red-shirt, get bigger and better, and learn from the team. If Miles works out, Miles will probably leave as a junior. If Miles does not work out, Narcisse will be ready to compete.

When we had MB committed and LN on board to come here, we all of a sudden had to kick the tires on Tua Thjkfdnidhjfe from Hawaii.

I think that was influenced by Kiffin. We've gotten it straight from O that Kiffin was on his way to Baton Rouge until he was offered a head gig. Knowing what we know now, I get the idea that Kiffin wanted Tua.

What a bunch of whinny bullshite.

I'm not selfish. I just think it is completely idiotic to come here and openly wish for your chosen backup QB to transfer because he didn't play in the first game if his true freshman season and (the horror) might red shirt. His true freshman season after suffering at least one previous knee injury.

Did it ever occur to you that maybe, just maybe, he isnt ready yet.

And maybe he, unlike your sorry arse, doesn't think about quitting after one game.

I hope he can leave early enough to get a fair shot early enough that he can have more options to land in a good place. Sure will have to compete, but it's clear the only QB's that were given any shot was DE and MB. For LN's sake, I hope he sees that sooner than later.

Dumbest fans in the country. Bar none.

LN could redshirt this year, be the backup in 2018 and 2019, and start in 2020 and 2021 if MB goes pro.

Yes, I know. That's what's so stupid about the OP.

I see no reason to talk about him transferring at this point. I'm not crowning Brennan after 4 minutes of handoffs. A lot can change between now and this time next year. Myles would seem to have the leg up now but let's see how it plays out.

This. long way to go. and who knows what happens when Narcisse gets further away from those knee injuries and improves his accuracy/ball placement.

I get it. I get it. With LSJ gone, what can you bitch about? So you ladies took a look around and came up with this complete and utter nonsense. Good job not everyone can make something out of nothing.

clear? this narrative pops up every time a player does not earn a starting role. you have NO IDEA how that competition played out; none whatsoever. yet you make a statement that says it's clear he didn't get a shot to win the job. frankly, you do yourself a disservice with this kind of talk. you are merely looking for a controversy with no proof whatsoever to support your position.

there is only going to be one back up QB this year unless there is an injury to either the starter or back up. the player still has a role and they may also be working on certain plays for him due to his running ability. but controversy is more fun; true or not.

Is it a given that McMillian is gone after the season? If not, then I like the idea that both freshmen play this season and get time while the games are still competitive.

Then who ever didn't win the job
Next year could take the redshirt to create a year of separation with McMillian as the number two.

Keyboard thugging has never been cool bro or lady what ever you are. Just because I have an opinion different than yours doesn't make me less of a fan. Most of you were the same people who dumped on the kid all summer looking for ways to discredit him as a viable option, but now I'm not a fan for stating facts? FOH.

Even in this thread, " oh if he improves accuracy," "if he does this. You don't know sht about why he wasn't given the same push as DE and MB. And of course O is going to come out after the fact ans say yes, he might get some time. He only brought that tone right after he lost one QB who realized the decisions were made before Spring camp started. That's facts. Get out your emotions over there.

A lot can happen in a season much less two. He has missed 2 out of 3 years due to injury so I bet it's a tough sell for s redshirt. I'm sure he's ready to play.. prolly tired of having to watch but I don't think the coaches want to burn another RS when there's a good chance either see much playing time. If LN can be patient good things will come. he's gotta know another year of S&c won't do anything but help him and his knees.

It's not the worst thing if he doesn't see the field this year.

Not only could he redshirt and continue his studying of the playbook and other things, but he can continue to heal up and strengthen his knees.

People forget in back to back years leading up to his commitment, he had major knee surgeries on each knee. A little more time working out and letting those heal up won't hurt.

Nor do you. You have given nothing but your opinion, yet you claim it as fact. Let the season play out, for Christ's sake.
