Has this ever happened before, where a fan interferes with a hit to the wall, called a home run but overturned for fan interference. He should have been put on 2nd base. This is crazy call.

Did the fan interfere with the defender trying to make the out? Answer is clearly no. Therefore the batter cannot be ruled out due to interference.

Simple math. The LSU fan in purple interfered with the outfielder.
