Hail the prince of midnight flight.
Posted by geaux74 on 11/21/25 at 6:49 am
In the shadowed forums of the Bayou, where tigers prowl and roar,
A gladiator’s whisper stirred the blood upon the floor.
From Oxford’s rebel camp he came, that sly and silver-tongued Lane,
Kiffin, breaker of oaths, bringer of sweet pain.
The Colosseum of the South…Death Valley…thirsted for its king,
The purple legions chanted low, the golden banners swing.
Across the Mississippi’s vein, the scorned in red and blue
Cried treason to their fallen god who once their laurels knew.
Behold the traitor’s entrance, cloaked in night and LSU gold,
The internet rebels howl, betrayed and overbold.
Their emperor abandons throne for greater, fiercer wars,
To lead the Bengal host where once he scarred them with his scores.
The ghosts of Sabans past look down from marble arches high,
And grin beneath their visors at the chaos in the sky.
For Lane, the lanista bold, has switched his colors twice,
And turned the SEC into a circus of vice.
O Colosseum of the gridiron, let the Tigers now be loosed!
Let helmets clash like gladius, let quarterbacks be juiced!
From Oxford’s ruined amphitheater to Baton Rouge’s embrace,
Kiffin strides the tunnel’s dark, a smile upon his face.
Hail Kiffin, hail the turncoat, hail the prince of midnight flight.

I have been working with Melvin Hill since August. LSU guy through and through.. down to his ringtone hold that tiger. We have had some conversations about this game and the purple pants. From the brief time I have been working with him and having conversations on a daily basis, he seems to be an awesome individual.
re: Bob Pettit. Why does he not get more love on here?

yes, he still lives here in town. He goes to the baseball games. I sit on the same row as him. He don’t miss many games.
fan interference does not have to be contact to be interference…

re: Infield fly rule
Posted by geaux74 on 2/18/24 at 2:51 pm to BallChamp00
does not have to be under the ball…a fair fly ball that can be caught by normal effort in the infield area. Does not have to be caught by an infielder. A fly ball from a bunt negates the infield fly rule.
re: Tennessee Boards were calling Ack “Kung Fu Panda.”

Riley Cooper is King Fu Panda. Certainly they meant him. i have heard this analogy before.
also Ticketmaster is a better gauge of availability for the College World Series.
Because it is a if needed game. tickets will be posted if it comes to that.
You stand on home plate with the ball till
play has stopped. Then you appeal the missed touched base and the runner is out. It is really that simple, him going to the dugout has zero bearing on this play.

Correct. In this instance the runner did not abandon his base running, he thought he was safe. A dead ball appeal would be proper.
One foot in the dugout rule is on a dropped strike 3.
Rule 8-4-1 section 9
Runner is out:
“on a dropped third strike, he gives up by entering the bench or dugout area”
Not the same as a missed base.

A player has been considered to give himself once once one foot hits the dugout. Mostly see on a dropped strike 3, atleast on high school level anyways.

Has to have one foot in the dugout to be consider giving himself up.
Yep stand on home let hiim walk to the dugout then appeal. JJ running on the field telling him to go tag.??
re: Did out of bounds Bama player have to reestablish himself to become a legal participant

Did not have possession there was a bobble.
It happens every once in a while you don’t have to delete the app simply close it open a different app the go back to espn. Works every time for me
open another app on the roku it does not matter which one. Then reopen ESPN. This happens everytime they make me re authenticate.
SGC not that expensive and had a quick turnaround
Only allowed in the free blocking zone, however, I thought there was an illegal block on the TD pass that was pretty obvious ?????
