How is it that Bama replaces players every single year with no Nick Saban

and brings a team led by a true Freshman and puts up 31 points in Tiger Stadium on a 50 million dollar roster with the best offensive coach in football. It would be one thing if Saban is still around but he isn’t.

The Alabama program is focused on winning. That is it. LSU is more focused on players creating their own brand and social media footprint, celebrity cameos, fire extinguishers, and basketball goals

For one thing, they really didnt drive down and put up 31. They put up 17 and. Were gifted 2 short fields, so kinda, but not really.
Secondly, and most important, they hired a better defensive coordinator than we did. Not by a ton, but by a little bit. And that matters alot.
Third, saban had a drcently stocked cupboard when he left, lsu did not. Replacing all 5 olineman with above average players in 1 year always seemed like a long shot

Not only that Bama is playing by the same transfer rules we are. They get raided every year by the NFL yet still bring a true freshman into Tiger Stadium and outplay LSU and their Junior QB.

There was no reason to believe Kiffin was a good football coach. He has accomplished nothing in his career. This fanbase couldnt help but fangirl over him cause he does yoga and posts on social media.

Russell isn’t a true freshman but kiffin shite the bed and a lot of the guys we picked up in the portal aren’t good enough.

Yall really are over reacting, its year one of a whole new roster. Kelon Russell is a sophomore thats been in that system, not a true freshman. We would be 3-6 under Brian Kelly. This was a very competitive game that we were winning that just fell apart. When healthy thats a top 5 team in the country. You can't rebuild an entire team in the portal each year. We are going to have to give this thing time.

He built the team last year that almost put Miami out of the playoffs.

This is not some great Alabama team loaded with great players. They lost at home to Georgia. Lost by two scores to Tennessee. Struggled two weeks ago at home with A&M.

Replacing all 5 olineman
The one that stuck around, Weston Davis, was by far the weakest link in a weak offensive line overall

Obvious, Alabama every season fields offense and defensive linemen that compete and control the line of scrimmage, teams that do beat them on occasion get a play here and there or compete with them

The Saban legacy of "developing" players endures at Bama. Havent you noticed that Bama defenders are almost always in the correct alignment, stance and assignment? Especially when playing LSU? Don't you remember reading the Sunday Advocate when Saban was here and capturing those snipits of quotes from on Sunday about alignment mistakes and missed assignments? He's not there but his presence is still felt and I'll bet he is on the phone with DeBoer weekly.

Are you aware Saban STILL HAS AN OFFICE on the Bama campus? Are you aware Saban STILL lives a 10 minute drive from the Bama campus?
If you don't think most all big time recruites, portal players are granted a "talk" with God Saban well you don't appreciate Saban's legacy.
***Look how DeBoer's demeaner on the side lines has changed from his first season. The Saban series on ESPN gave me an inside look at how Saban ran his program. His comment about talking rat poison is just the tip of his iceberg.
As Kerby Smart said "after the National Championship out in California"Saban called a 7:30 AM.full staff meeting the NEXT morning."
Nick Saban is POSSESSED with WINNING !

Bama will lose in the first round. They are not what they were under Saban and before NIL.

We asked for all of that when hiring Kiffin. We knew what we were getting.

On the subject of Nick Saban. Something that's gotten lost in Kiffin's failures, is the fact that Saban knows Lane Kiffin extremely well. He knows his character. He knows what kind of man he is, and he knows what kind of coach he is.
And for weeks this very board told us that Saban did his part in getting Kiffin to LSU, and you all loved him for it.
The Tiger Rant told us all Saban wanted Lane Kiffin at LSU. Well the Coach we all saw last night is the man Saban delivered to Baton Rouge. Assign whatever meaning you want to Nick Saban's efforts to give him to you.
