Because Bowers had a better season than him. Bowers is a beast. Bech is too though. Bech just didn’t get involved in the offense early enough in the season.

If they evaluated him as a Tight End that makes sense. If they evaluated him as a receiver I don't see how Nabers makes it over him.

Yeah I would guess they evaluated him at tight end because I agree with you.

He kinda got frozen out of the offense the last few games. Don't know why.

Malik put up similar numbers in half the numbers of catches. Keep in mind Nabors didn't really get a ton of chances until later in the season.

People here don't see the value in big plays for some reason. They just see the stats for total yardage.

That's why you have some saying Jefferson is a better WR than Chase.

This is the truth. Not saying I agree, but football evaluators always place the higher value on the big chunk plays downfield over the check downs. Jack had some great plays, but most of his receptions were 10 yards or less. Does not mean they are less important, it is just the way of the football world.

I think he started most games as "TE", even though he lines up as a slot wr.

Obviously you can’t pick him over the tight end at Georgia so what do you do

I'm still pissed Nuss didn't see him streaking wide open for the GW TD against the Hogs.

Because he wasn't targeted enough. Didn't they only through to him like 2 times in the A&M game?

Boutte was 2nd with 38 catches total before his injury

LSU is known as DBU and ND is known as TEU.
All that lack of precipitation of TE and RB are now as gone as Coach O.

Bech had the flu week before A&M

Max missed Bech open several times this year!
4th qtr for 20 yards for the 1st Down to Auburn = too high

Wide open post pattern for possible 60 yard TD vs Ole Miss thrown behind him

Bech is a WR. A shame LSU so depleted at Tight End; that should NEVER happen!
