MacKinnon was known for scoring before he came to LSU. He averaged 15 ppg the year before he came to LSU. I think the hope is that many of these guys will score more against NCAA players than they could vs Euroleague players. I think that is a reasonable assumption. I think the bigger challenge will be how will these players adjust to going from pros to college players. Will they think they know better than Wade and the other coaches? If we get a college point guard, or a high school recruit, would they gel?

More concern trolling. Let’s apply their standard to the SEC title team under Wade. Our starters returned 27ppg total but you didn’t see any of the phony pear clutching. It’s just another double standard wish casting narrative.

The current precedent for someone who signed NBA contract - in this case a 2-way and a 10-day - is ineligibility. LSU knows this and supposedly is pursuing a different challenge for eligibility.
I believe that was the gist.

You’re correct but if he didn’t play on the contract might he argument for him being eligible.
