Probably like a 7. Not sure how any actual LSU fan couldn't be excited after the absolute shitstorm that was the previous 2 seasons.

I was originally down at about a 5 knowing we were "that close" to NY6/Playoff

Then psyched myself up to an 8 knowing it would be the last chance to see them play with an opportunity to reach 10 wins

About a 4 I guess. I never expected us to beat UGA and make the playoffs, but I was excited about the chance to play in the Sugar Bowl....then came the A&M game.

This bowl is a catch 22 for LSU. Win and it's expected. Lose, and it's not a good look for the program. Hopefully BK will have the guys motivated to end the season on a high note with 10 wins. I don't think it will be an easy game though. From a fan perspective, I can see how Purdue will be a lot more excited to be there than we will. Their fans will travel well. I don't see us bringing more than 10-15K fans.

Another poster mentioned lsu doesn’t travel well to Orlando. Hate to say it but aside from a game in Houston or Dallas, and definitely what people experienced in Atlanta last weekend, this fan base doesn’t really travel well.

Weird.

8.

Playoffs are a 10, NY6 a 9. Outback would be a 6 and stuff under that less than 5.

Please give it a rest. Your constant posts about Daniels are a pain.

We traveled well to the first Citrus Bowl (Capital One Bowl back then) against Iowa, but not since then. With the air sort of going out of the balloon at the end of the season, I didn't expect us to travel well to Atlanta and I don't think the majority of folks are too exited about Orlando either.

As far as LSU fans not traveling well outside of games in Texas, I don't think that's necessarily true. We traveled well to the Fiesta Bowl in 2018 and we brought over 30K fans to the Peach Bowl in 2019. Thousands of LSU fans made the trip up to Lambeau Field in 2016 and out to LA in 2021.

Despite the fact that we did much better than most expected this season, the end of the year was kind of a bust. With the holidays coming up and nothing really to play for other than a 10-win season and some momentum going into next year, people may decide to stay home and spend their money elsewhere.

9 bc I only want an opponent that we have the best chance of winning. I don't care about sexy matchups

Tulane vs. USC at same time would be more intriguing for me. Watch replay of LSU if they win.

I’m always down for another Tiger game, but the 5&7 loss followed by the blowout followed by seeing what we’ve been missing all year with Nuss burst my bubble
