As I stated before, If it’s not a NY6 bowl, they’re all the same in my eyes. Obviously good to make a bowl and win but the actual bowl itself means nothing. Citrus would move the needle the same as the Texas or Independence bowl IMO. I guess the matchup would be what drives it for me.

A match up against Wisconsin, Nebraska or Penn State instead of Purdue would be better.

but for the fact that if I went my wife (no pics) would want to go to Disney, I'd go to this game.

My condolences to your bank account.

99 & 44/100ths percent in.

It’s LSU football so that’s enough for me to be excited

Mediocre bowl game with a morning kickoff against a horrendous, irrelevant program. If we win, it is expected. If we lose, it is humiliating. Purdue can bolster its profile with a win, so they will be motivated. Meanwhile, the bowl does nothing for our national reputation.

10, for all the people that aren’t excited can get the hell out of here. Vegas had our win total at 6.5. Barely making a bowl. Pumped to be able to watch the Tigers on 1/2.

6.5...I think it will be a launch pad for 2023 honestly....need to dominate and move into Spring as strong as possible. Similar to 2018 - 2019 transition.

A "New Year's Day" bowl game after the last two seasons we've endured is awesome!
It's not actually on New Year's Day but I get your point.

I will always enjoy watching LSU play during bowl season. Last game you get to enjoy for eight months.

TBH a 10.

Was just hoping to break .500 and not get embarrassed at the start of the season
To see what has been done in such a short time, all the good press, all the good recruits, all of the great plays with even greater players and to get a Jan 2 bowl game?
Its still all sinking in.

So I could not be more happy and proud for LSU and the program.

Not going to argue the prestige of a Citrus Bowl win but the circumstances are we can get to a 10-win season and *maybe* top 10 ranking (might actually be #10 but it counts!) which I think would fuel recruiting, boosters, NIL sponsors, etc. also, CBK showed an eagerness to go for it on 4th downs and we might get to see both going for the win AND some trick plays, goofing around, having fun
