How do you think LSU basketball finishes the season?

We are a jekyll and hyde team. It's frustrating for all involved, including fans.
I do think we make the NCAAT.
LSU made the Final Four in 1986 as an #11 seed. Just saying.

If we win out and lose sec tournament championship game I think we are an 8..if we somehow got lucky and beat Gonzaga this place would explode and I feel certain we would lose the next game

Wut? Have you watched this team lately? Not a gritty road team. It's much more likely we only win one more game this season than your scenario.

This. #4 seed catches the #5 seed in Nashville, which will most likely be Tennessee. Problem is, get by Tennessee and you're looking at a rematch with Bama. End of road for Tigers.

Sneak into NCAAT as a 10 or 11 seed. Might win the first game depending on the matchup, but either way they don't make it past the opening weekend.
To me, this season parallels the 15-16 (Ben Simmons team). High expectations because of a very talented roster. But a roster of great individual pieces that never became a great team due to (some degree) of selfishness, jealousy, and lack of competitiveness. Coupled with an HC who, for the first time in his career at LSU, looks to be "scared" of his talent. That is, Wade was so thankful a guy like Watford returned for a second season and Thomas chose LSU that he was scared to coach them hard and hold them accountable for fear they would "quit" on him. Combine all of that with Wade's flat out refusal to accept his defensive approach is an absolute disaster despite that same approach producing TERRIBLE results the year before, and you get probably the most disappointing season in 5 years.

Beat vandy and mizzou. Depends on sect matchup, if its georgia or miss st, i think they lose, if its anyone else, i think they win and lose the next game. 9 seed in ncaa tourney

I agree with all of this. I think the Vandy win will be very close with Vandy leading almost the entire game before LSU takes the lead for good.

It's a different game, but Duke wanted to fire Coach K after 3 seasons. It's not a good comparison for me, but there is legitimacy to letting a coach grow. Especially with LSU basketball. We'd have 7 posters chiming in if we weren't halfway relevant or expectations right now.

IMHO, this team has "lose in round of 32" written all over it.
Lots of talent. Great offense. Fatal lapses of effort on defense that plenty of teams in tournament can and will take advantage of.
Teams with a lack of defensive effort don't go deep in the dance.
