Obviously Emery is the 1, but we all know there will be multiple RBs played. I thought Armoni Goodwin was explosive at times in the spring game. How much will Noah Cain contribute? Jeremy Hill said he was a guy who could help a lot receiving out of the backfield.

Another “feelings” thread about opinions that do not mean shite on day 2 of practice.
Kelly will start the best one. How’s that for a “feeling”?

Multiple running backs play for every college and pro team in the country. This isn’t about who is starting, just a look at what we have at the position.

Thinking RB group will be bottom 3rd of the SEC , but not a glaring weakness.

Man that’s pretty pessimistic. Emery is like an Alfred Blue. And Cain and Goodwin are more than capable.

Emery has always had all-American potential. If he puts it together he can be the best back in the SEC.

Josh Williams has always been sneaky good and hopefully he or Cain can pick up the tough short yardage.

We have three NFL backs before you get to Josh Williams and he’s not too shabby either, and he will probably at the least make an NFL Practice squad

I feel pretty good given the depth.

You may not have anyone really step up and establish himself as the clear #1 guy, but I feel like all of them together are good enough to where it won't be a weak link in the roster.

But, I could also make an argument that any of the three (Emery, Cain, Goodwin) could step up and establish themself. They all have an unpredictable upside.

Bradford must have been impressed with the ones ahead of him on the depth chart.

This is a retarded non sequitur by a retarded poster. Has nothing at all to do with the OP. He wasn’t asking about who was starting, he was asking about the position as a whole, which is lacking in depth at the very least, and likely overall talent by LSU standards. Oh yeah, its also the position that takes the most beatings and lends itself to players getting banged up, if not straight up injured than probably any other on the team. Its a legit concern. Maybe not for Florida State, but throughout the season.

I feel like our receivers are going to be so explosive …..that it will take a lot of the load off of our running backs
