After watching this series I noticed some freshman really stepping up and pitching was better this week

What could we improve on to beat Georgia?

Just keep doing more of the same. Get quality 5-6 innings from starters and turn it over to bullpen with the lead and then situational hitting.

Throw strikes, get hits, avoid errors.

Pitch well meaning keep the ball down and play good defense

Hope the wind is blowing in. That park is a band box, and our pitching will get touched up there if it is blowing out. Either that, or we’ll need to score 10 per game

We could benefit similar to the TN series - pitching needs to throw strikes and be competitive

Play small ball and not try to hit homers every swing. Keep Stanny on the bench until he's 100% healthy.

At this point just leave him on the bench regardless

Throw strikes, play defense, grind out at bats, get timely hits.

It’s a simple game

Never understood this.
A top 10 prospect in Curiel BUNTED for a double today.

I’m not saying we need to bunt the lead off runner over every inning, but being able to successfully sprinkle that into the offense could be a difference maker. It puts pressure on teams to be athletic and make quick decisions defensively, and adds one more thing to have their mind on before the pitch.

Not sure if y’all have noticed but we are driving the ball much more as of late, the number of pop-ups caused by big fly swings has dropped noticeably. It seems to be the offensive philosophy is shifting from what wasn’t working consistently to more balanced.

We give outs away more often than they turn into hits. And it prevents working pitch counts
This isnt a series in omaha where 4 runs may win it. This park plays ridiculously small and itll prob take at least 8, you need to play for the big inning

Pitching has to be solid all 3 games. Tbh, we gotta be lights out on the mound. Only way.

1- Do little things right.
2- Focus on the next pitch, not the last one.
3- Realize that how you play, is more important than who you play..
