I had a pretty good run (05-09). Men's basketball went to the Final Four my freshmen year and won the SEC my Freshmen and Senior year. Women's basketball went to the Final Four all four years. The football team won the National Championship my Junior year and the baseball team won the National Championship my Senior year.

The only truly bad year was the Andrew Hatch season when Perriloux was kicked off the team.

Good to great in late 80's. football, baseball, basketball in top 10 and track dominating. Rugby team (no joke) - national champs. Baseball set the stage for dominance. Basketball so close to putting it all together.

Have to say we were pre-internet but there was no blaming the AD or Coaching staff for normal fluctuations.

My first year was Stovall's last. I lived in North Stadium dorm, and we were yelling "We love you Jerry" out the window during an impromptu interview on the ground right after his firing was announced. Remember John Bond throwing it all over the place and trouncing us in an unusually cold late-season game at TS.

While we were at Spring Break in Ft. Walton, watched 11th seeded Dale Brown team beat UK in Regional Final and then ran out on the beach and did a baseball-like celebratory jump and stack pile up on the beach. Then lost to Louisville in Final Four semi.

4 straight losing seasons in football including the worst season ever.

2 national championships in baseball with teams loaded with future major Leaguers.

Basketball with CJ for one year and Shaq for 3.

Track national championships galore.

I was there during the Dinardo years. We had a few good baseball and basketball teams though.

Mine was Arnsparger / Archer ( believe it or not it was the most wins in LSU history over 5 year period) and a Final Four / Final eight Chris Jackson / Shaw Daddy etc .

It was before the internet so it was more just blindly positive and joyous.
