The music sounds louder on the video. The players can hear the coach yelling instructions to them just fine. Otherwise, they would stop it.

I heard Brian Kelly played 40’s Big Band and Showtunes when he attempted to coach at LSU. Explains a lot.

I would have rather them play loud music. We used to have the loudest friggin trumpet on loud speakers and those stupid cowbells playing on the speakers. You would have a headache thirty seconds into practice....
This is nothing new, its just to simulate game like situations as best as possible.

A game day experience and a game inside Tiger Stadium isn't like watching golf. You not gonna see marshals all throughout the stadium and sidelines holding up signs letting you know to be quiet.

The players have to learn how to hear signals with crowd noise. It was either this or cowbells.
