re: How can anyone defend the conversations from the tapes?
My cousin Vinny could defend that conversation. No specifics mentioned and a lot of room for interpretation

Not enough evidence. We don't have the complete text. It's a very real possibility that we're missing significant context.

I’ve always known this board had a lot of blind homers, but this situation has really disheartened me about our fans. Wades a cheater, and yet 90% of this board is defending him.

Its disgraceful.

It is. It's made me conclude that either 90% of the posters are about 13 years old, or 90% of the posters stopped mentally maturing at about 13 years old.

The fact that Will Wade has not been terminated is defense enough. If they could charge him with anything, they would've.

reppace the word “offer” for “pitch” which in the context of a scholarship offer isn’t crazy, and this whole things is very reasonable.

No need to show money exchanged hands. An offer is an NCAA violation.

The tape mentions his family and how big of a piece of pie certain people got. I just wonder what flavor pie it was.

the only people that can defend this are the people that want LSU to win, so badly, that they are willing to sacrifice all intelligent thought and reason.

It's clear that we have a LOT of those types of people around here.

Are we "pitch" "scholarships" to player's families, now?

theyre not appeasing the media. They’re appeasing the NCAA, which will likely lower the boom on us at some point.

I’ve seen people say the offer was referencing a scholarship?

Have you listened to the tape in its entirety?
If not, you have no idea what they were ta;king about.

Because he never says what he offered and he never says he actually made a transaction. It's called proof/evidence. And going by the tapes only there is none. What would you charge him with if he was a defendant and you a prosecutor? The NCAA has nothing. Javonte Smarts name was not said, he only said this smart thing. Prove otherwise.

How could Auburn defend Cam’s dad asking for $$ for his services? I wish we had Auburn’s admin.

So you are saying you want an administration that condones, supports, and protects cheating. Got it.
